I wasn't the biggest fan of avocados before but I think I've finally jumped on the bandwagon and realized how AMAZING they are!! 📌dEATails: 1/2 an avo mashed, seasoned with chilli flakes,mixed herbs,s&p, topped with cherry tomatoes and another sprinkle of s&p, spread onto a slice of olive sourdough bread-my fave!

I used to not eat after workouts. 😬 I thought to myself, “why would I eat if I just burned off so many calories!?” My mindset has changed a lot and I feed my body nutritious fuel after long workouts. It’s the best way for those muscles to grow and recover. Exercising helps me feel so good, but a mindset of only burning calories or working off a big meal from the night before will never get me anywhere or strengthen my relationship with food. If I feel guilty after eating something, that’s only going to lead to resenting exercise and fearing certain foods! I’m glad that I exercise for strength and so many other healthy reasons. I’ve taken a lot of good mindset lessons away from the great @nutrition.redefined podcast as well. You know it’s a good day when sushi’s involved❤️🙌🏼🍣 Salmon, yellowtail & tuna are my go-to’s! I got 6 pc. sashimi, a side salad with the dressing on the side & salmon teriyaki (I omitted the sauce). Since I’m currently on low carbs, I didn’t eat the rice. You can definitely make healthier habits when eating out😊

WHEN ITS FRIDAY AND YOU NAIL THAT DRIZZLE 😋 alright time for real talk: I hesitated posting this because it’s not creative or original but it’s real life! I work full time and usually eat the same thing for breakfast every day. Is this cake or oatmeal??? Like for cake, comment for oatmeal 😉 Got my BBG Week 7 arms & abs done this morning and I’ll probably go back later for some cardio! What’s everyone up to this Friday!? I don’t think it’s a secret I’m obsessed with this oatmeal bake recipe... it’s still not old yet and it’s been 20 days 😂 If it tastes like dessert and is healthy enough for breakfast, you can sign me up everyday! Here’s the recipe: 1) take 2 cups of rolled oats and pour them into an 8 x 6 baking dish 2) I cut up/aesthetically place fruit (not having aesthetic fruit DOES NOT CHANGE THE TASTE LOL) 3) I whisk together 2 cups of @califiafarms almond milk & 1/3 cup of egg whites (egg whites optional, but it does change the fluffiness of the oats fyi) and then pour it on top of the oats 4) I bake the whole thing at 375 for 35 minutes 5) I personally top mine with @foragerproject yogurt but you can use honey or regular yogurt or nut butter! 🙌🏻 There’s a reason this is the move lately and everyone is making it! Makes 4 servings, mine lasts only 4 days because I eat it every morning (would probably keep for like a week in the fridge) 😊
