My scars don’t define me, they are a map of my past! I am here because of them, they have shaped me, moulded me and created the person here today! I’m proud of my past but I define myself daily!’

Last year I hiked up the path on the other side of the lake to catch the sunrise, but I really prefer this side at sunset - can you spot me? 📸 By bettina___h
It felt so good to stay up late editing nothing but photos last night! It’s been two weeks since I have done much photo editing and I missed it dearly! Also, it’s incredible hard to edit my PNW photos to have the same feel as the simpler shots from the desert. Still working out exactly how to edit them haha. I love the bright colors I’ve been editing recently though and I really want to stick with them, they always make me so happy ❤️

☀️⛲🚶♂️•Ocean Park •
From sunrise to sunset this park is a rich island jewel and gathering place for the community. The ocean views are breathtaking and magical. Walk the field ,watch the ferries arrive, smell the sea, and listen to the sound of waves..... #marthasvineyard

Still about Paris, night or day photography? What do you prefer?
Happy girl after I survived climbing Olomana Trail in Hawaii which includes the ridge you see in the background (450 m free fall on both sides). It’s always amazing to look back to travel adventures and often I can‘t believe I really have been there... Good to have some photos as a prove!

Through the blue I saw these tiny figures meandering in the distance. One creature in particular, no bigger than a football, starting making its way towards me. The shape turned out to be a curious baby spinner dolphin. Not long after, more adolescent spinners started to come play. As I drifted on the surface, the babies kept making close passes, as if to rebel against their skeptical parents. As the parents rallied their young, they glided by in one final pass. In this picture alone I could count at least a dozen baby spinners... a truly magical experience.

This place is pure magic🇫🇴. Situated on a seaside cliff overlooking a waterfall into the ocean, Gasadalur might be one of the most beautiful villages on the faroe islands. From above with crazy conditions like this, it's even more beautiful. Look at the waterfall to get a taste of how windy it was!! #visitfaroeislands#faroeislands#atlanticocean
