A really great day... 🌞
At the beginning of this month, when I went to grab tick preventative for the pups for the season and realized that I only had one dose. .
Last fall, we needed one more month's worth of Frontline.
Instead of getting the 6 dose pack so they were even, I tearfully got the 3 dose option, since we were told that Teddy's cancer would steal him away before the spring. .
When I saw that single dose in the box, and remembered why there was just one, I was so overcome with joy and gratitude.
What a great reminder of the incredible #BonusTeddyTime we have been having! .
Our sweet Tedder is the gift that keeps on giving 😄 We are just the luckiest little family around!

Yesterday was a great day. I went on adventures with my nephew. We explored an indoor playground and had a blast. Not the best photo, he's challenging my skills as he never sits still but his joy matched how I was feeling. #fms_areallygreatday#fmspad#nephewben#ballsoffun#play
5/24: A really great day ( #fms_areallygreatday) for #fmspad. Today really was great - a perfect day for this prompt. I made 5 people very happy with job offers, had a great meeting with some of my managers, visited Erin at work (but she won’t let me post the pic I took of her), and came home to this. An absolutely GREAT day.

May 24 - a really great day.. is any day Shasta and I float the Buffalo. This float was one of my favorites. Crazy tall (up) river, random stuff on the edges, a scene from Pocahontas, and Baylor in my belly. We float every year no matter how deep or far, or even if our raft starts being blown up in a bathroom 💜 #fms_areallygreatday#fmspad#buffaloriver

EDS: Do you think EDS is “expensive”? Definitely. I have to use more money on food because of allergies/intolerances, use money on medication, physiotherapy, hospital trips, psychologist (though I’d probably need that anyway). I can’t take the bus because it’s just not accessible in any way. Taking a wheelchair accessible taxi to get anywhere is incredibly expensive, but I’ll have to if I want to go alone. Because if I use my manual wheelchair I’ll need help. I have a SmartDrive, which is great, but it’s still not easy to get around everywhere. If I go to my hometown (~30 min by car, almost double that if you take the bus), where my parents live, most of the sidewalks are horrible. It’s hard enough with my powerchair.
We had to take a better flat in the middle of town, so that I can have some level of independence.
Everything is more expensive when you’re chronically ill or disabled - even here in Norway. I know I’m lucky that I live here and that I have an ablebodied husband with a steady job. But it’s still way more expensive.
Hubby sent me this picture of our cat today. It’s so cute, I’m dying 😭❤️

May 24th - A Really Great Day - it's always fun discovering the hidden delights a new city has to offer........and Atlanta didn't disappoint. Guess who found The Cheesecake Factory (one of my all time favourites)........oh my.....that banana cream (another one of my all time favourites) is to die for 😍😍😍
