We will not be at the @helenafarmersmarket tomorrow, but it looks like it will be a beautiful day to stroll at the market! Every time I’ve been discouraged at how far behind our flowers are this spring, or how short the tulips were, or how awkward it is waddling around pregnant, I’ve planted more zinnias🤪
All different types this year, in a rainbow of colors. I can’t wait to see views like this again! #longtablefarms#helenamt#farmersmarketflowers#zinnias

It’s almost Iris time! Are yours already blooming?? Ours are partly shaded so they seem to open up later than those I’ve seen around town in full sun.
The garden is g r o w i n g and LOVING the sun & warmth we’ve had the last few days.
Yesterday was spent ripping out the tulip bed and then today planting sunflowers upon sunflowers. We are reaching the tail end of what has seemed like endless planting days, and we will hopefully soon have bountiful “bucket days” of harvesting. #longtablefarms#helenamt#irisflowers
Every once in a while, I say yes to a request for something fun, and out of my comfort zone as a grower, and do some design/floristry work.
Today I used greenery from our farm, and roses from my parents farm (back in Washington) to create flower crowns for two special Brides-to-Be! 🌿
We are enjoying a few days in the sunshine in my hometown. Just resting & relaxing before the full swing of summer starts up (& baby boy joins our family in July!) It’s a good time to sneak away as the spring bulbs are done and the summer annuals need to soak up some rays and grow over the next few weeks.
We hope everyone back in Helena is enjoying the 🌞! #longtablefarms#farmersmarketflowers
