While looking for an outfit to cardio in today, I saw them - staring at me. A little hesitant I grabbed them, because why not? I went into it thinking “don’t get disappointed when they don’t fit you. You haven’t been staying on track with your nutrition lately so they probably won’t fit today either." • 😭😭😭 A PERFECT FIT!!!!! 😭😭😭 •

Over the past couple months my meal plan has provided me with recipes like a Pumpkin Spice Latte, Gingerbread Trufffles, Pumpkin Whoopie Pies and other sweet treats.
All of these things don’t affect my progress, some could even fuel it.

This week I have been baking my Granny’s famous Christmas cookies. She has probably made these for 30 years, and it’s an old-fashioned soda cookie recipe. 👉🏻Second thing I want to talk about is the power of rest and its ability to help you on your fitness journey.
I was talking to a cute girl yesterday who told me she has noticed such a difference in my body just recently. I had to really think about what am I doing differently ? How did I change my workouts or the way I operate in the gym? Then it came to me! I have started taking a lot more rest days and only working out when my body doesn’t feel sore ! I’m not trying to fatigue my body or push it too far ever. •
🏃🏼♀️I think so many people this more is more but honestly when you’re getting an intense workout in that pushes your abilities and your strength you NEED the rest! Less is more when you’re getting in quality exercise. •
👉🏻You DO NOT need to workout 6 or 7 days a week to change your body ! I have only been getting good hour long weight lifting sessions 3-4 times a week and I’m seeing major changes in my glutes, quads, back and abs. You need time for your nervous system and muscles to recover after intense workouts. •
💤 You must rest the WHOLE body also! When you don’t allow your whole body to rest in between days you train you keep yourself in a state of stress and don’t allow your body to get energy back. You can easily get burnt out and lose motivation by overtraining as well! So give your nervous system, mind and muscles a rest a few time a week and watch the difference you have in your workouts and later your body 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻♥️♥️♥️

Turkey Taco-Stuffed Bell Peppers
1 pound ground turkey
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can yellow corn, drained and rinsed
1 jar salsa
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
2. Using a sharp knife, cut off the tops of each bell pepper. Use the knife to help cut out and remove the seeds and ribs from inside the peppers.
3. Place the peppers in a lightly greased roasting pan and set aside.
4. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Toss in the onion, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper, and sauté until the onions have softened, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Toss in the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
6. Move the onions away from the center of the pan to create an open surface in the skillet. Place the ground turkey in the center of the pan and break up the meat.
7. Move the meat and onions to the sides of the pan to create an open surface again. Pour in the black beans, corn, and salsa and stir the mixture until evenly combined.
8. Spoon the mixture evenly into the hallowed bell peppers and replace the bell pepper tops.
9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the bell peppers have softened and wilted slightly.
10. Remove the tops of the bell peppers, spoon on a large dollop of guacamole, and replace the tops.
11. Enjoy! . .

200g / 7 oz pitted dates
2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
3 tbsp nut butter of choice
In total 50/50 g of almond and oat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp dried ginger
3/4 tsp ground cardamom
3/4 tsp ground cloves
Preheat the oven to 150°C / 300°F, and prepare a brownie pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper. My brownie pan was 13×13 cm / 5×5 inches.
In a food processor, process the dates, water, vanilla, and nut butter as smooth as possible.
To the food processor, add the remaining the ingredients: the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves. Mix until combined.
Transfer the mixture to the brownie pan, smooth and spread out evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool, cut up and enjoy!

The ingredients according to the macronutritients mentioned in the picture are:⠀
- 150 gram chicken sausage⠀
- 75 gram rice (raw weight)⠀
- veggies: cucumber, red onion, tomato⠀
- 80 gram mango⠀
- 50 gram blueberries⠀
- 50 gram strawberries
