Well today was not actually leg day, but the gym was super busy (and ironically @lightning_blonde_ the treadmills were full) tonight so I had to think on my feet.
I am not going to lie, when the gym gets busy, it throws me off and I do have a shorter workout - this is also because I get to the gym late, and I am usually starving... As the last photo illustrates, I was so done 😂
✨ ANALYSE, OVERTHINK, REPEAT ✨
One thing I’ve always struggled with is overthinking and over analysing things. The tiniest thing can set me off and make me panic, feel paranoid, and worry myself into a complete mess.
I’ve always wanted to please people and be the best that I can, I hate letting people down, I try and do all that I’m capable of to ensure people are happy and when I can’t or I don’t get the reaction or reply I’m looking for it sparks this anxiousness I can’t control. :
Small actions that mean nothing, like a unread message, or no instant reply make me worry... what have I done? Have I upset them!?... which then leads into some of the most ridiculous things.... before I know I’m 3 months into my Instagram feed counting how many photos they have or haven’t liked since I met them or spoke to them. I’m rereading messages and trying to imagine what the tone was, I write and rewrite new messages to them on how I can ask if we are are ok with it looking needy.
These feeling so ridiculous and a lot of the time so unnecessary, I’m getting better and learning that if people have a problem but care about our relationship they will say something. I’m also getting very good at stopping myself from my crazy data collection analysis and learning to just let these feelings go. :
I wear my heart on my sleeve, I always have and I always will and that means at times I take things personally but I’m also tough and I’m learning you have to take care of yourself and sometimes that means being a little selfish. :
: . .🗺❤️✌🏼
TRUTH🤣😂🤣😂🛒 In fact, my walk of shame just happened yesterday...after discovering .... 5 Below!
Never had I ever 😳😳 and now I know...it’s more dangerous than those little front aisles of 🎯 target.
You’ve been warned💋😂✌️ Tag yourself or a fellow shopper who understands👯♀️🙋♀️
💪🏻5 REASONS EVERYONE SHOULD STRENGTH TRAIN💪🏻
I hear so many creative reasons why people think they shouldn't a form of strength training. “I don’t want to get too bulky”, ”my joints can’t handle it”, “I don’t have time”... blah blah blah blah blah. Here are 5 reasons you should hit the weights. ...
1. It makes it easier to lose fat. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn each day. Along with interval training, strength training is your go-to for fat loss. Try to avoid the steady state cardio myth. -
2. It improves bone strength and balance. Muscle strength is essential for bone health, balance and just being strong enough for daily activities, such as climbing stairs or carry things from the car, this is handy at any age especially in your senior years. -
3. It manages your blood pressure. Regular strength training has also been shown to help you regulate your blood pressure, as well as blood sugar and blood cholesterol levels. -
4. You will get better sleep. Strength training will help good sleepers as well as those with insomnia. It helps lower your cortisol levels (Stress Hormone), so your mind won't be racing in the evening. Just be sure not to train too close to bedtime though. -
5. It makes you smarter. Research also shows it's good for your brain, according to a study from the University of Sydney. Some researchers believe this is due to intense exercise raising the adrenalin hormones that stimulate the brain. (Who doesn't want to be a little bit smarter?)
Well, what are you waiting for? Hit the gym. The positives far outweigh the negatives. If you would like some assistance with a gym program, please PM me, and I will be happy to help.

Hey everyone...i wanna introduce this rockstar Brie Handford 🤩
If her story inspires you to make some changes then give me a call and let’s get you started 👍
Her own words... “Before I found this system, I was self conscious, unmotivated and to be honest, I didn’t think a whole lot of myself. Over the last year or so I watched my friends Courtney and Kiah get MAD results and was inspired to become the healthiest and happiest version of myself! I finally started with this amazing health and wellness system and can’t believe what I’ve achieved already! 😍😍
I’ve only been using the system for 4 and a half months and I’m only 1 teeny tiny kg away from goal #1 🏆My fitness has improved. I’m pushing through barriers I wasn’t able to before (Squat my own body weight, leg press TWICE my body weight 🙀💪) I’ve tried so many things before and I’m so grateful that I was introduced me to this. It’s super simple and everything tastes AMAZING!! 🤤 Finally, I’ve found a solution that works for me! ✅” #fitforlife_aus

There’s too many people following people who really make them feel like shit about themselves.
Why do that to yourself? Clean out your feed and just follow people or accounts that build you up.

Have you ever gotten so excited about something, your heart started to race? You got goosebumps and couldn't help but dance to let out some of the energy building up inside you. You smiled ear to ear and, in that moment, felt genuinely and completely aligned in every sense of the word.
Then two seconds later, doubt kicks in. That little voice in your head told you you weren't good enough, smart enough, (fill in the blank) enough. And you listened. You doubted you could move from where you are to where you want to be. Doubted whether you were even worthy to get there. All those emotions you were feeling a minute ago - that rush you felt - gone.
Why is it so easy to talk ourselves out of greatness?
Thoughts become reality. So here's my challenge for you: take those limiting beliefs you have about yourself and release them. Live AS IF that thing that got your heart racing is already happening. What kind of habits would you adopt? How would you run your day? How would you eat, think, and act? Recognize those things, then DO THOSE THINGS.
Stop talking yourself out of greatness. Start talking yourself into it.
You'll be amazed at what happens. ✨

I brought sand to the beach
'Cause my beach is better
You can keep ya beach
'Cause that beach whatever
I go to the gym to focus on myself, to be selfish, to block out the world and work for an hour, to progress my strength and to get the happy endorphins flowing 🤪
Gone are the days where I go to punish myself if I’d over eaten or if I “feel fat” or bloated, because I was never happy enough with myself
Motivation can only ultimately come from you so find your way to motivate yourself into doing what you love 💗🧡❤️
How many hours do you sleep per night? Comment down below!
These eye circles show that I need some sleep! I've been lacking of good sleep for a while now, and I definitely need some time to rest
I always try to sleep 7/8 hours per night but the past days have been crazy and my average went down to 6h. Plus I've been running around for the past two weeks and I am starting to feel a little bit tired. I definitely need some time for myself now
Sleeping is just as important as staying up and doing things we love! Make sure you get enough time for yourself and to rest, sleep and recover
My goal for tonight is to SLEEP 💤
Quante ore dormite a notte?

Roses are red
My hair is brown
If you ask me what I am
I'll tell you that I'm down 😉
Nah, I'm kidding, i just wanted to rhyme and show off da booty #happyhumpday#booty
Gotta learn to love myself somehow, right?
When you’re enjoying those post push day lean gains and clock the calves 😒
Seeing as the annual carbtastrophe is almost amongst us, I’ve been tapering down the amount of energy I’m investing into my diet and diverting it into other areas of my life where I’m v v v busy rn🎄
Being someone who likes to get thoroughly involved in the festive food I tend to enjoy having the kcals to get some respectable weight on the bar and making some last minute gainz, before committing to the summer ✂️ #Xmass
