With the holidays right around the corner, it’s so important to realize that one meal isn’t going to derail all your progress.🙅🏼♀️
You know how they say “one salad won’t make you lose weight, just like one bad meal won’t make you gain” ?? Well it’s so true! So let yourself enjoy that turkey feast every once in awhile but always make sure to never follow one fun meal with another one.
Implementing a plan of never missing a healthy meal twice will keep you on the 80/20 track – eating more nutritious, balanced meals 80% of the time and less-healthy fun foods 20% of the time. 👍🏼

Two variations of a puppy pose, both open up the shoulders and chest, and help with the spine’s flexibility. One is a passive pose and the second one is an active pose. Neither is better than the other. Don’t focus on how advance your poses are in your practice but rather how they feel. Focus on being able to breathe in the pose and listen to your body, it’s your greatest teacher. I love both of these variations, but to be honest with you I do the first one way more often than the second one! What’s your favourite puppy pose? Do you use props sometimes, like a sofa or a wall??
Finally landed in Zambia, we’re in the middle of nowhere and I couldn’t be happier. It took us 24 hours and I’m exhausted. We can hear hippos from our room and were told elephants come to drink from our swimming pool on regular occasion. I’m literally in heaven.

Although last nights prejudging didn’t go as well as I had hoped I’m still full of so much joy and feeling grateful that I have the opportunity to be on that big stage. This season has been one for the books and I have learned so much from it. And although I won’t be achieving my goal of going pro this year all of the knowledge and new friendships I’ve made have made this year well worth it. I’ll save the details for a later post but I just want to thank everyone who reached out this season with words of encouragement. I appreciate you all and I grateful my journey has touched as many people as it has♥️
