So I haven’t been myself lately & really began to loose focus on my goals. Not just in fitness but in a few aspects of my life, but I’m waking up today remembering the strength that I have & the self drive that I can never allow myself to loose!
Not matter how hard life gets it’s so important to remember that you’re the only person that can turn it around. There nothing wrong with giving yourself time to feel your emotions, just never let them consume you 🌸

Yes there’s no comparison, because honestly you can’t visually see this one.
I have my bad days. I have my days where all three meals aren’t homemade meals. I’ll be the first to admit that I SUCK at getting my nutrition on point.
More days than not, I choose healthier options because I love the results it has had on my body this past year.
However, I don’t restrict myself from my favorite things, if I did I may have reached more #bodygoals .
I’m so fucking happy with where I am and how I feel.
Even in high school when I had a very thin, but curvy athletic build, I didn’t feel as comfortable as I do now.
I wore crop tops out in college because that was the trend. I HATED how I felt wearing them but I did it anyways to not stand out like a sore thumb.
Any other time, I would wear cardigans or baggy sweatshirts so I could cover my stomach. Literally when I left college I had a collection of probably 70 sweaters, cardigans, zip ups, etc... I LIVED in baggy shit.
Today I’m comfortable with wearing casual crop tops to the damn grocery store.
Yes I wish I looked differently. Sometimes I wish to have a tighter stomach or more toned legs, but right now if I did what I knew I had to to reach that look, I’d be miserable.
Maybe one day I can be more disciplined to achieve those goals, but this is a LIFESTYLE and I want to fucking enjoy it 💁🏼♀️
Making changes, and hating them, is what creates the yo-yoers. You can’t maintain those expectations because you aren’t enjoying them. You’re not enjoying what you think you need to do to be healthy or lose weight so you stop. You’d rather choose enjoyment through food and activities with friends and family than enjoyment out of how your body looks and how you feel in it.
I GET IT! You shouldn’t have to be miserable, so DONT!
Do the little things that can help reach smaller goals, and slowly start adding more changes as you see fit and when it becomes something you can really dedicate yourself to.
Just remember that everything takes time and patience, and everyone experiences that differently 💜
Everyone is always aiming for their “perfect body”. But with so much misleading guidance and crazy named diets around these days everyone forgets about the basics.
Especially with the current weather in the UK at the minute hydration is vital.
No basics will equal in no results. Keep it simple. - hydration - sleep - training consistently - calories tracking - macronutrient awareness

Balance is a word that gets thrown around a lot on podcasts, in books & just in everyday life... ‘it’s all in moderation’ ‘as long as you balance it out’ ‘if I eat a green smoothie for my breakfast and a salad for my lunch I can have a pizza for my dinner right?’
💙REAL BALANCE in my opinion, is actually hard to define. Because everyone is different. What is balance for me will be completely unrealistic for someone else.
💙It’s hard, because on social media people have a platform to be role models to others, but a lot of the time all they do is preach how to do this, eat that, train like this, do that, make sure your living a balanced lifestyle etc etc.
💙So I’m asking what does balance mean to YOU? only you know what balance means for you, what a healthy lifestyle looks like for you, because all I know for sure is that what works for me, may or may not work for you.
💙I’m not going to use this platform to preach, however I do hope to inspire and guide ✨

I know I’m a few days late 😂 I honestly didn’t think that I would get invested but I got invested as soon as the telly was switched on.
