Guess what? Negativity ❌ does not change things or make things better ❌
There’s been a whole lotta “woe is me” over the past few days, and last night I realized that even if things don’t go my way, being negative about it only makes things worse... or makes even turns things that were once positive, into something negative.
I was determined to turn things around, so this morning I jumped out of bed [almost] on time, and went to the gym ready to smash @alexia_clark lower body. I went heavier than usual and gave 110% percent. I had a lot of fun, and loved almost every minute of it! It was sweaty, and oh boy that 🍑 burn!! -

Here’s a few clips from yesterday’s workout.
🔷Sumo deadlifts 10x4.
🌀Hip thrusters 10x4.
🔷Leg press hack squat 20x3.
🌀Good mornings with dumbbells 15x3.
🔷standing single leg hamstring curl 15x3.
🌀Ab roller 12x3.
🔷TRX pike mixed with crunches 50 total!
Those ab workouts really kill me😅💦

I assume the people over at Effect felt my frustration from not being able to do what I wrote for my AM Workout bc I just had my butt handed to me with these tires 😩😩😩 Shay went a little nuts today with the light & heavy weights but let me just say that even with a rocky start Monday is PAID IN FULL!!! 😩😩

#motivationmonday. I absolutely used to hate doing Bulgarian split squats. They’re no joke. I was guaranteed to have the insides of my hamstrings aching the next day and scared to sit lol. I didn’t really have the range of motion for them on my backside.
Instead of writing them off as a load cause, I started doing them with just bodyweight and focusing on my range of motion.
Slowly but surely it got better and now I don’t get sore at all. My motion is so much better (still improving though) and I actually love the lift. It hits the glutes a lot more than doing a lunge IMO. I love adding them to the end of a workout as a nice supplement for the whole lower body.
