when we first started hiking
I texted a woman I admired
about our new family exploration
in my need to share
I asked her if we could join them
to learn, see & adventure this new life
I had never experienced before with them
I remember the feeling
of a rush of air flooding me
as my hopes & dreams fell tragically
back down to earth
she in an matter of fact essence
told me no
no since they hike 14 mile hikes
no since they go at too prompt a pace
no since we could not keep up
no since we could not handle the trails
what they saw we would never see
what they accomplished
we would always fall short
years later I sat on top of my fifth 14er
that the tall one & I had climbed that day
laughing at the beauty
of the Colorado Rockies engulfing us
I remembered that conversation
way back when
I had vowed that fateful day of disenthrall
that I would prove her wrong
I do not think she meant harm
with her harsh light of reality delivered
that became a quest to prove myself
became a quest to show I deserved
to feel this love of wild like she does
with the many miles
with the many mountains
with the many encounters
of everyday magic
I do not need to prove anything anymore
I am just me
this is just us
we are just wild
messy & free
we are just love
we are just what we need to be
Here’s a fun movement you can try anywhere. The first video is the beginner option and the second is more advanced (feel free to try both and see which you feel is right for you!)
MOVEMENT ONE: FLOATING BEAR🐻☁️
--Sit on your butt with your hand under your shoulder
--Push down with both your foot and hand so that your butt (and your other leg) lift off the ground, keeping shoulders away from ears
--Go as high up as you are comfortable with
--Aim to move as slowly and gracefully as you are able to (practice makes better!)
--HINT: pushing with the foot on the floor is what really makes this happen
MOVEMENT TWO: LADYBEARS🐻💃🏻
--start in the same position
--again, push with foot and hand
--at the top of your Floating Bear, slowly rotate until you are in Bear position and return the floating foot to the floor while touching down with your hand
--hold and reverse to begin again
--again, your aim is moving slowly and gracefully (practice!)
--WANT MORE? Try switching to the opposite side from Bear, as shown later in the 2nd video

Coming Home is one of those books meant to be read around Christmas time, when everyone returns home, celebrating life, family and love. Michael Morpurgo’s story depicts a brave robin’s migration, an epic journey through which the little bird stays strong against all adversities, while dreaming of home.
One of our favorite new artists in town has such a cool view on the way we see the world: They create these graphic maps using icons as demographic placeholders in cities, states and countries.
Being from Salt Lake they know how great our city is. This SLC map is one of our favorites. Hmm, might need to be a closing gift to our new-to-town clients! 🤫😉

To know how to stick the tongue out to the vortex of life. Turn away from the flow that society imposes on us is not easy, even less with social networks. Is sharing and living one's life incompatible? To each his vision. One thing is certain, one have to live one's life.
I never write long posts and I never really share too much about myself. This one was probably the hardest to talk about. Hopefully this can inspire others who struggle like I used to.
My Transformation Story
I’ve never been too skinny or too over weight, but for a long time I was struggling with eating disorders.
My eating disorders started because I was suffering from a bad acid reflux, which caused me to throw up almost everything I eat. Being scared of throwing up caused me to stop eating at all during the day and binge eating at night. Everything was a mess and my body was at its worst - I didn’t feel healthy (and I wasn’t healthy), I was anemic, always blotted, and mentally - I felt terrible.
It took me a long time to make a change that will stick with me. But I found my way - today, I’m in a completely different place! I found that vegan food is the best food for me. It doesn’t aggravate my stomach and doesn’t make me throw up.
Being vegan for me was the way to go - I eat 4-5 meals a day depends on my schedule - but the same daily caloric intake.
I workout regularly which is probably my favorite part of the day. And I’m just happy!!
There’s always a solution for everything, find your inner strength, and find how to become the best version of yourself! I BELIEVE IN YOU!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Yes, it's Monday, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Have a great week, everyone!
