This is how all yogis read right?
📖📖📖 I just found out I get to go back to Colorado this December and I'm so excited. I've never been in the winter and I love that I'll get to experience this great state in a new way.
I'm thinking there will be just as many shenanigans and an equal amount of #dolphinpose - but maybe more sleeves?
With 4 million subscribers on YouTube alone, Yogi Adriene Mishler (@adrienelouise) has built a global community that actively engages with her content and each other. Starting with the basic concept of giving before receiving - 90% of her content is free - has been essential. In addition @adrienelouise emphasises the importance of finding a shared vocabulary that people connect with: "It's now more important than ever that we are really conscious with our language.” Watch her full talk during me Convention 2018 in Stockholm, on our website: www.me-convention.com. Do you plan to or already have built a community? We would love to hear your story in the comments below!

Today is most DEFINITELY going to be amazing. It's Justin Timberlake concert day!!!!! Hubby got up this morning and asked why I didn't sleep in since it was going to be a late night. Told him I'll sleep in tomorrow but had to get a workout in today. I did a popsugar dance workout video to warm me up for the dancing tonight 😉 got some yoga in and some help with chair pose today. Have a wonderful day!
I’m generally a night owl, and usually have a really hard time getting going in the morning. Last couple of nights I’ve made a concerted effort to listen to my body and go to bed when I first feel the instinct to do so, rather than thinking oh it’s too early.
Got up today at 6am, got a good breakfast, listened to NPR, and got a little work done to prep for my class, and now getting my yoga started before 9am. Small victories matter, every day is progress of some kind.
I'm constantly complaining about my lack of resources, knowledge, consistency, commitment... The list can go on.
One of the things that stayed with me from my healing sessions with @positivityangel is that I should start with what I have.
I've been pivoting on a fulcrum for I don't even know how long complaining that the rose bush is full of thorns, instead of being happy that the thorn bush has roses.
My full moon meditations have been spent intending just this.
More Doing, Less Complaining.

🤸♀️YOGA IS THE UNION OF BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT🧘♀️🙏 🌍🌎🌏According to Deepak Chopra, it’s the union of your individuality with the divine intelligence that orchestrates the universe. ❤Yoga can help you achieve enhanced emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being and will increasingly notice the spontaneous fulfilment of your desires. 🙏 ❤In yoga - in union with spirit - your desires and the desires of nature are one.🌞 ❤As you participate in the process of creativity along with the infinite being, your worries fall away and you feel a sense of lightheartedness and joy.🌞 ❤There’s a spontaneous blossoming of intuition, insight, imagination, creativity, meaning, and purpose.🤩 ❤You make correct choices that benefit not only you but also everyone affected by your choices.😊 📖“The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga” by Deepak Chopra has taught me a lot more than I new about yoga, energy, and all that’s happening in our mind, body, and spirit which makes me even more motivated to keep going on the path of growth and development in regards to the subject of yoga.🙏 ❓Have you got any books that helped you spiritually and physically? Would love to hear your recommendations!📖🙏

I don't know about you but mornings around here are hectic. From making coffee, breakfast (we each have something different), juice (celery for me, fruit and veggie for the guys), cleaning the juicer, making sure L eats something, and actually drinking the juice/eating our own breakfast, to everyone getting dressed and out the door...it's a lot. I prep the juices now and try to make enough for 2 days (not the celery) but it's still a lot of work. I have been trying to get out the door on time to yoga for like 3 days and I've never made it. I know I'll get there, I'm pretty much looking at every day as one step closer to getting my sh*t together and learning how to function in the morning. I've thought about it a lot and it seems the only solution is to get up earlier. Before the guys. That means I need to go to bed way earlier. Anyway, I'll get there. Also, I am thankful for @adrienelouise. I really needed to move this morning and it felt awesome.
I’ve struggled with chronic pain for the past seven years or so. I’ve been able to manage it better for the past four years but trying to maintain a consistent workout routine has been nearly impossible. Anytime I try I have a huge flare up that seems to take me a week or two to recover. The pain can be that bad.
The only thing my body has really been able to handle, especially this past year, has been yoga. The first few days can feel a little rough and I have to start at complete beginner. But it doesn’t take long for my body to work into it. I’m finding now if I miss a day my body regresses so fast. I get so sore and tight. I literally can’t miss a day or I’m miserable. We did our thirty day challenge in January but have been a inconsistent this month. Since we committed to do it together, I told Hubby last night, I can’t miss a day anymore. And he’s with me.
So more as accountability to myself but I’m posting to say I’m going for 365 days. I’m hoping it brings some major healing to my body. Particularly for my psoas, shoulder and hips as the seem to be my major pain points. And wherever else it deems suited. So here we are. Day 1. 🧘♂️ .
Find your tribe. Love them hard. 🌿🌻 Find someone that will lift you up & hold your weight when you can’t do it alone (yoga pun intended). @amandamcmack

I was feeling SO TIRED after work, but that didn’t stop me from getting in my workout! Now, I feel more energized than I did before! Also, I wanted to hit my calorie goal, so I definitely ran around my house and did jumping jacks until I hit that goal cuz I know that I’m going to be sitting on my butt for the rest of the evening. 😆 Have you ever done that?? #sweat12wc week 6 arms & abs: ✅
Something nice about doing yoga to the sound of sleet pinging the house. No, seriously! Idk, I like weather (duh😅), and as long as it isn't crazy windy, I like hearing precip outside. Snow/sleet/ice day today, which is always a nice change of pace, to work from home. Feeling really good about my yoga practice. Twists are becoming more open, balance a little more stable, and I'm much more confident in how I'm moving. Really loving this journey 😊. #yoga#yogawithadriene#ywadedicate#snowday#fwfg#yogajourney#fitventures#selflove#findwhatfeelsgood#newipadcase
I get asked a lot about how I warm and the stretches I do and realized I don’t really post any so here’s a start. I do most, if not all of these stretches or a variation of such, just about everyday before each workout, sometimes after as well. ***Each video is sped up (except the last one) so if you try this kind of flow, take your time and go at your own pace.
There’s a little of everything in there- but the goal is to feel it out. The yoga flow consists of opening up the hips while dynamically stretching legs, core, and the shoulders. Stretching extensively before each workout isn’t always necessary but doing this gets me loose and ready to go. I can’t just walk in the gym and pick up 400 lbs w/no warm up like I used to. Lol
I’m going to try and start posting more warm up/stretching videos, whether it’s for specific areas of the body or total body flows like this one, because I feel like they’re more beneficial for people. Stretching and feeling your body out always comes first which is why I advocate yoga so much. #findwhatfeelsgood 🧘♂️ #humpday#yoga#yogaflow#stretching#warmup#fitfam#instafit#muscle#atlmodels#motion#votd#fwfg
well, i did it! i’ve successfully completed the #YWADedicate 30-day journey (even though it took a little more than 30 days...)
I’m so proud of myself for sticking with this, and am beyond grateful to @adrienelouise for leading the journey, and for @scoant for supporting and encouraging me along the way!
i’ve struggled to enjoy working out for a while, and am so happy to have finally found an at-home yoga practice that motivates me not only to keep returning to the mat, but also to be my best self both on and off the mat. I can’t wait to continue on the next YWA journey!
Life sometimes throws us curve balls and adds stress that we didn’t expect. And today, was one of those days for me. I could not wait to get on my mat and just breathe it all out. Today’s practice was not the most peaceful one to say the least. Ironically enough at the beginning of the video, Adrienne said, something along the lines of “it may not be your traditional practice and if it’s not quiet around you, soak in the noise and listen to what is going on”. I had to smile because my 6 yr old was playing on her iPad and my 5 month old was on her activity mat with music playing. It was far from quiet and my mind was probably the noisiest of all the sounds. But I looked around at my precious girls and their smiles and suddenly felt a sense of peace. I was right where I belonged! 🧘🏻♀️🙏🏼💖 #namaste#namasteallday#30daysofyoga#fwfg#findwhatfeelsgood#fwfglife#dowhatyoulove#yogawithadriene#ywatrue#showup#dayeight#practice#heartchakra#love#light#peace#relax
Dedicate - Day 30 - Liberate ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As you will see in the video, I get (a little) emotional in the intro for today’s practice.
Day 30 is always special and due to the depth of DEDICATE, the nature of this final practice feels now more important than ever.
I invite you to look inside. If you are brave, I invite you to have fun, trust yourself, and GO FOR IT.
Find What Feels Good.
Enjoy it… and know that this practice is really guided by the most beautiful and powerful guide of all.
It has been a total honor to be your yoga teacher and even more of an honor to be your friend and fellow human in this process and on this journey.
Remember, it’s not the end.
It is most definitely the beginning.
I will see you on the mat.

It’s day 16.
Today’s practice is designed to feel like the perfect hug.
You’ve earned it!
May today’s session be sweet and supportive and may it serve as everything you need to smile and keep showing up for practice.
Be sweet to yourself so that you can be sweet to others.
Also, this practice has a lot of sweet self massage.
Can’t miss that! 🍬
