How do you keep going day in and day out with the proper fuel?? I have tested many recovery solutions and the very best comes from natural sources!
I recently took some time off of my oil and supplements routine - not because I’d planned to, but I got distracted by other things.
I started to feel really bad really fast. Lethargic, sick, under performing, exhausted, dull.
I am working my way back into my zone. The place where I feel good and can go hard while maintaining muscle strength and stamina and also endurance for the rest of what my busy life throws at me.
My recovery routine is simple but it has been key to feeling good before, during and after workouts! #1 . MORE WATER has made a huge difference in my recovery AND the next workout I embark on. I have finally got ahead of my dehydration instead of always being in thirsty mode. This has made a big difference in my muscular endurance through workouts.
2. Vitamins - B vitamins is what my body craves! B vitamins are essential, they give you energy and uplift your mood. Young Living’s Super B has been a lifesaver since the first day I tried it in March 2016.
3. Minerals - Sulphurzyme has all the minerals your body needs. It has also been responsible for my crazy new hair growth and strong nails!
4. Foam Rolling - learning how to do this thoroughly is a life saver for breaking up the lactic acid in your muscles and is a quick cool down when you run out of time for stretching after a WOD.

👆🏼👆🏼This has been my natural state for the past few months. 👆🏼👆🏼 The hustle is real, y'all. But the past few days, I have felt EXHAUSTED. Like all the late nights and non-stop finally caught up to me. 😴

1⃣Taking the time to plan & strategize will assist with avoiding 1 of the BIGGEST time wasters...touching things twice.
2⃣Do the MOST dreaded item on your to-do list first...freeing up your time to do the things that excite and inspire you.
3⃣Delete or delegate! "Urgent" actions often have little impact. Don't let the small tasks that you THINK have to be done right now get in the way of the things that really matter. Learn to identify when "putting out fires" is getting in the way of your performance.

Gratefulness is my word for the year. I don’t know if you do this too but I’ve been doing it for a few years now and it has been so much more wholesome than resolutions!
Every morning I choose to be grateful, I choose to give thanks and I choose to bask in all that I currently have rather than worry over things I don't. .
It’s not always easy! It’s incredible how quickly I can forget to choose gratefulness first if I’m not working at it. .
It’s a conscious effort every day but it’s getting easier let me tell you!! It's already made an incredible shift in my life. I live with gratefulness and abundance in mind and it's a beautiful feeling.

I have helped so many women learn what it means to be truly healthy inside & out. I have helped them overcome disordered eating, learn how to find peace with food and their bodies, and be able to truly fall in love with who they are.
Over the years, I kept getting told that what I was teaching and the way I was teaching it was unlike anything these women had experienced through before.
At first what I thought was a simple compliment, has now become my mission.
👏🏻Who was I to be the only one who could transform these women’s lives?
👏🏻Who was I to be the only one who could offer them the help they needed after seeking help so many times before?
👏🏻Who was I to be the only one utilizing the teaching I had mastered to help the women who needed it most?
I realized the impact that my expertise could have in the health industry as a whole, was far greater then the small number of clients who I could impact by myself.
By teaching my methods and strategies to other health coaches, I could spread my mission far beyond my own reach.
As a Mind-Body Master Coach I teach current and aspiring health coaches to become master coaches in disordered eating, food emotionality, body image, and holistic health.
The women inside of my programs learn how to teach their clients to stop dieting for good, overcome disordered eating, find freedom in their bodies & around food, and learn how to transform into the strong women they desire to be inside & out.

Learning to own your own s____ is a big part of it. So I’m sharing three quick steps to get you there in my new podcast episode. (Link in profile!)
Hey gals! If you’re anything like me, you have a billion ideas running through your head. You need to do a brain dump. Just have an open google doc or pen and paper and as you’re going through the day, write down what pops into your head and leave it there and carry on with your day. I like to do the same thing before bed when my mind is running a million miles a minute. Here’s what I came up with in a few hours of getting thoughts out of my head. And life feels so, so much better.⠀

6 STEPS TO PREVENT BURNOUT // I don’t know about you, but I’ve got some FIERY energy today.⠀
When I get wrapped up in work, I can literally GO ALL DAY -- all up in that flow zone!⠀
BUT! All that flow causes our cells to build up metabolic waste products that can lead to inflammation, miscommunication and burn through key nutrients needed to keep us functioning optimally.⠀
It’s important that we give our body the rest + recovery it needs to flush out those toxins and replenish our cells with renewed vitality.⠀
To prevent burnout, there are SIX main areas you need to be addressing:⠀
RESET YOUR SLEEP⠀
Circadian rhythms regulate cortisol which regulates melatonin -- important for sleep, detoxification and immunity. Blocked melatonin and elevated cortisol increases your risk of disease from diabetes to dementia and cancer.⠀
FOLLOW THE LIGHT⠀
Getting 30 minutes of bright sunlight in your eyes in the morning can regulate your energy, mood and mental clarity all day long. Can’t get natural light in the morning because of your work schedule or where you live? Try light box therapy or @humancharger instead.⠀
RIGHT FOOD AT THE RIGHT TIME⠀
While a low-carb diet may sound like a weight loss winner, for women, a VERY low-carb diet actually increases your cortisol and likelihood of putting on belly fat. In fact, eating a small healthy carb 3-5 hours before going to sleep has actually been shown to create a healthier cortisol pattern while improving sleep. Also, avoid skipping meals or eating less than 3 hours before bed. ⠀
RESET AFTER WORK⠀
Studies have shown relaxing and rebooting mentally and emotionally after a workday leads to healthier cortisol levels and better sleep. Make it a habit to decompress for 15 minutes before transitioning to “home life”. Taking 2-5 minute mini-breaks every hour or so to walk around, stretch or do some focused deep breathing can help a TON with energy and mental focus.⠀

Hello from an ex-people pleaser. I used to turn my own schedule and life upside down in order to make others happy. A friend would call crying about a fight with her boyfriend and I would stop everything and run to comfort her. ⠀
A client would email me and demand me to do something and I would do that even if that made me miserable or wasn't even agreed upon in our contract. ⠀
With a LOT of disappointments and lessons, I've learned that not everyone needs access to me. Some people are just not your people. I can say no and the world doesn't stop spinning and I can put my needs and happiness first! ⠀

I’ve never felt more tempted to stay within my comfort zone as I have in the weeks leading up to this move.⠀
I was scared about this being the wrong decision. Worried about finding an apartment. Exhausted by the thought of having to start all over again.⠀
Even until the morning of my flight I thought about just cancelling the whole trip.⠀
And now that I’m here...⠀
It feels so damn right. ⠀
Like I’m one step closer to my dream. ⠀
And it got me thinking... isn’t it crazy how much we get tempted to stay where we are - just because we’re scared of maybe, potentially not living our dream?⠀
Woke up this morning with a cancelled flight, so we’re enjoying one more day in Barcelona and making the best of it!! Maybe we can go back to the winery and ride bikes?! Sounds like a fun Tuesday to me!😍

BREAKING THROUGH PERFECTIONISM
Tonight I'll be interviewing my amazing boss babe client @Pete a_coulson founder of @collab.events
