-hi melt cheese
-Chili BBQ sauce base
-McClures bread and butter Pickles
-Port&Plum sauce drizzled on top
This surprised me how good it was. Medium rare burger with crispy Brisket, sort of like bacon but better.

What a wonderful trip in Manila! So much shopping and eating in this lovely city and we will look forward to coming back for more! Maybe next time the lil one will be walking along the artsy streets with us.

When I started my food blog, I never looked forward to competing with anyone and still don’t participate in this race. Lately, I’ve heard cacophonous statements being spoken about me. I thought about it for awhile, after wasting approximately 30 minutes on the futile drama, I asked myself to be calm and to keep doing what I have been doing and to stay focused. I feel happy when a fellow blogger gets recognition for his/her hard work. I feel overwhelmed to see another blogger succeed. Because, I am not challenging any one per se. I love it when clients give me an excuse to touch back to my roots and bake a cake. Who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries... am I right? 😋This one’s a cacao cake, filled with a strawberry, raspberry compote, topped with vanilla buttercream & chocolate covered strawberries. My goal in 2019 is to bake cakes that are 100% vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free. I’m sensing an old hobby is about to take on a whole new life. Happy Friday everyone!
