“Trollstigen means the troll’s road or troll’s path and is Norway’s most famous road. It is a really popular tourist attraction because of its steep incline and 11 hairpin turns (plus multiple waterfalls). More than 2,500 vehicles (including tour buses) use the road daily, but it’s only open during the summer from mid-May to October.” | Trollstigen, Norway. 📷: @thisdinkylife#featuredtravelers
“Photographers. The lazy ones get sunsets only, and the diehard get sunrises too. More often than not, I’m usually the lazy type, but on ballooning days, I’m wide eyed and bushy tailed.” Bagan, Myanmar. 📷: @jdubcaptures#featuredtravelers
“Death Valley is such a wild place. It really seems like it’s another planet there. The heat is finally dropping and I’m getting excited to go back.” | Death Valley National Park, USA. 📷: @forestbarkdollweil#featuredtravelers
Collecting frequent flyer points has become a lifestyle. Where does that take me? This year, my annual family Hawaii trip, Chile, and home to Calgary a few times. In Canada, I stick #withaeroplan, and if possible fly exclusively with the star alliance partners. Saving on flights has allowed me to splurge on my crazy escapades of sky diving, diving, and dining at my bucket list restaurants. Who do you collect with? @aeroplan
Landing in Santiago we stayed a night to dine at 99 restaurante, cruised through wine country to pick up essentials, celebrated New Years in Puerto Varas, check out penguins and Unesco in Chiloe, then embark on the legendary Ruta7, the Carretera Austral highway in northern Patagonia to Villa O’ Higgins. A month of, hot springs, amazing camp sites and meals prepped by @edibleadventuretravel , hiking in the most pristine breathtaking landscapes, catching ferries that transverse amazing rivers and fjords, boat rides out to marble caves, white water raft one of the meanest rivers, and sky dive beside Chile’s most active volcanoes, it was an adventure I can’t wait to get back to. Capping off this trip with a meal at one of the worlds top restaurants, Borago. Patagonia I can’t wait to get back to you! #chaiten, #parquepumalin , #chile.
