The #fancyfoodshow in San Francisco was amazing! There were so many amazing food innovators, buyers, publishers, celebrities, and winemakers. The international pavilions were my favorite. Not going to lie, I spent a good deal of time in the France pavilion indulging on chocolate croissants, beignets and cavier, while my husband was in Italy enjoying white and black truffles. Meeting the company that has been supplying my favorite Neiman Marcus apples was definitely a highlight! We viewed over 1500+ exhibitors!

Okay, full transparency. I was under a San Francisco street for the last three days.
So maybe I’m being a little dramatic, but really, I was. It was the Fancy Food (trade) Show and I was repping a really cool cashew nut brand, Karma Nuts. Thousands and thousands of exhibitors were there as well as thousands and thousands more spectators. It was beautiful chaos, to say the least.
During my time under Howard Street, I stood and greeted and spoke with hundreds of folks. I stood and I stood and I- well you get the point.
Then after the show I went home to a really excited three year old boy. To say the very least, I’m exhausted!
Luckily for me, I had my CBD tincture by @onda.wellness handy the entire time. I cannot emphasize enough the relief this product gave me during this crazy show. The tincture was so fast acting that I felt a reduction of pain in my legs and back next to immediately, all without the high. Nonetheless, this kind of care allowed me to carry on WITH a fat smile on my face. Maybe the smile had to do with the CBD, or maybe it was just my fab self. But I’m telling you, there was no grouchiness during this trek.
What I love about these guys is that their propriety oil uses the FULL plant! Like as in the oil is deep, deep green.

Today I met one of my biggest foodie inspirations. I was so giddy after meeting @carlaphall at #fancyfoodshow! For me, to meet someone that has inspired me so much with my passion for cooking is beyond an honor! AND — to be able to say “THANK YOU” to someone you look up to and to someone who inspires you is the coolest thing. She was so lovely to me. We chatted for a few min about food, @disney & how great they are with food allergies, the new pandora flying ride at Animal Kingdom and I told her how much she has inspired me! I watched @rachaelray & @abcthechew on the daily and even though I couldn’t eat much of what they cooked, I was so inspired by their food creations, flavor combinations, techniques, tips & tricks.
I love cooking shows because there is always something to learn.... more importantly (and especially with The Chew/Rachael Ray) it’s about encouraging you to get in the kitchen and cook — AND use real ingredients!
My motto is BE REAL EAT REAL because we are real people and therefore we must eat real food. Sometimes you need a little inspiration in the kitchen and I hope that perhaps I’ve inspired you with my blog and Instagram.... Carla Hall is someone that has inspired me greatly. Her fun, exciting, warm, lovely personality shows in the amazing dishes she creates. She was so kind to me & I’m so grateful that I was able to meet her and chat even for just a few minutes. Thank you, Carla! I’m so honored to meet you!
