What was the highlight of Remote Year?
Always one of the first questions we're asked about the remote year experience. For me it will always be our Yugen Build project, where we tried to give back to this less fortunate than us, to give them a brighter future.
This weekend the project came to fruition when we helped build houses for families leaving in extreme poverty in Bogota, Colombia. As a result of all the generous donations 42 families now have a new home and a brighter future to look forward too.
A huge thanks to everyone that supported!! | Take a look at our story to catch up with Yugen Build Weekend | 📸💬 @dairesummerville | #RemoteYear
I always knew from the first time I ever traveled away from home it was in my blood.
I always craved this feeling of ADVENTURE. Trying new foods, challenging my fears, experiencing the world and all it has to offer is too fucking cool to miss out on by sitting on my ass behind a computer desk at my 9-5 every day.
One of the biggest reasons I decided to become an entrepreneur is because I knew my business would help me fulfill my adventure itch inside! It helps me be able to afford frequent vacations, my company rewards me with all inclusive trips, I always approve my own requests for time off 😉 and I can bring my business with me everywhere I go!
The coolest part is that I get to bring @gabegargano with me so we can experience the world together and have some time to strengthen our relationship!! 💓
Crossing off my 22nd state in the US and 3rd country I have visited so far at only 28, not many people can even say that at 70! Slowly working towards all 50 states and overseas we'll go!! Indy bound for the next week for a kickass business convention to meet all my online bffs in person, party it up and workout with the fitness trainers that have helped me lose over 200 lbs!! 👀 my stories for some behind-the-scenes shenanigans, delicious food and tips on how I stay healthy while traveling. (Cause you most def can!!) 😘
"To forget the dead would be akin to killing them a second time." Today we remember all of those who perished in the Holocaust, and everyday we honor their memories and their spirits, which will live on with us forever.
