Exploring a lush, sub-tropical forest on Mount Tamborine. It was absolutely pouring the whole time, but what's a rain-forest without a little rain.
It honestly felt like we were in Jurassic Park the whole time.
Yu Gardens 🍁🍂 I don’t know how many gardens and cute little buildings I’m up to but each one is unique and beautiful in its own way. It was good to finally tick this one off my list. The best part of waiting till winter to view all these places is 1. The crowds are so much smaller and 2. The ticket prices drop in price. 👌🏻
The Wildebeest Migration and River Crossing. We followed the Migration into the North of the Serengeti. With our fantastic guide Amani we had the chance to watch several Crossings a day. It's one of the biggest Highlights, watching the giant groups of hundreds and thousands wildebeests jumping into the water and fighting to get to the other side. And sometimes a crossing turns into a hunt. So it was spectacular when several crocodiles appeared next to a crossing we watched. It was interesting and sad when we realized that the crossing didn't stop, even with the predators on the scene. And we had to watch the animals jumping into the water not knowing who's waiting for them...Serengeti Nationalpark, Tanzania 2017.
