Reposting one of my favorite photos of my career for #WorldPhotographyDay. Sure it’s an alright photo, but it was one of the happiest days of my life. The feeling from that wonderful day has never really left. I’m very thankful for the moments and special times and memories that have come from this day, and the decision I made. Even if I was really nervous. I couldn’t be happier I decided to pull through. Not only for myself. But for you. You’ve helped me experience some of the happiest and most amazing moments of my life. I could have never been able to share these moments through a lens. As much as I have wanted to. Thank you for accepting me as I am, and letting me play this extremely important role in your life. You mean everything to me, Sarah Quinn.
I’m very grateful for the photography community and all the wonderful support over the past year. Thank you @MichaelSte for inspiring me, and supporting me. You’re a great person and a great friend.
Travelling to Faroe Islands actually gave me a bad conscience since half of the Faroese people don't want tourists. Imagine living on a tiny island for hundreds of years with no foreigners what so ever and suddenly your even tinier town with 100 inhabitants are bombarded with hundreds of tourists. Every single day. You felt like an intruder walking on the fields not belonging to the Faroese state but to the farmer. Apparently most of the land on the Faroe Islands are private and to able to reach these amazing landscapes you're walking on the private land of someone who might not want you there.
🌲I run through a wooded isle, And I chase the sunlight mile after mile. And I feel like I know this place, As the tree line breaks into wide-open space 🎵- Lord Huron, Lonesome Dreams
As a kid my family used to drive 4 days to Guadalajara and back every summer. We'd stop at random #lamichoacana I've cream joints the whole way. So stoked I get to make our own version of that memory with my cubs here at home #oxnard
