I just wanted to talk to you a little bit about substitution. What i like to do when im having something like a burger or taco I like to substitute my bun, taco shell or wrap with lettuce. White bread is someone called empty calories as it does not fill you up. Lettuce though is only 20 per 85 grams, vitamins and nutrients we need. No trans fats as they are usually proccessed.

🍊Clementine’s Curry Baked Cauliflower & Chickpeas with a Coriander, Lime, Ginger & Pickled Red Onion Salad 🍊
🌶 This dish is loaded with Cumin - a bit of a wonder spice - which has so many health benefits, including containing a bunch of antioxidants to stop the negative health effects of free radicals, reducing bad blood cholesterol while increasing good LDL blood cholesterol and, according to certain studies, aiding fat loss through increasing the activity of digestive enzymes 🌶
Ez az eszméletlen finom édesburgonyás csicseriborsó saláta lett a vacsorám. 😍 Az édesburit kis darabokra vágtam, és kókuszolajon aranybarnára sütöttem pár perc alatt. A csicseriborsóhoz adtam az apróra vágott lilahagymát, petrezselymet, sóztam borsoztam, chilipehellyel megszórtam és citromlevet csavartam rá. Hozzáadtam a burit, átkevertem és végül pirított szezámmaggal és korianderrel ízesítettem.
Hát ez annyira jó lett, hogy készítek még egy adagot holnap ebédre is🤗

Hidden Veggie Muffins (7-8m+)
These savoury muffins by @nomnomkids are packed with hidden veg for the seriously fussy toddler. They great for baby led weaning and would make a great substitute for a sandwich in a lunchbox. 🙂
▫️2 large eggs
▫️200ml vegetable puree
▫️150g grated cheese
▫️200g self raising flour
▫️30g butter, melted
▫️3 Tablespoons of Quinoa flakes
(optional but if using, reduce the flour)
▫️1 Tablespoon Pesto
(optional, but tastes great)
▫️2-3 medium carrots
▫️Half a courgette sliced
▫️1/4 red pepper
▫️3-4 broccoli florets
(extra stem sliced if you have it)
▫️Handful of sweetcorn
1. Steam your carrots, courgette, red pepper, broccoli & sweetcorn until soft. I started with the carrots, then broccoli, and then the remainder of ingredients.
2. Drain and then blend with a splash of milk.
3. Preheat the oven to 180C (or 355F)
4. In a large bowl lightly whisk the eggs, then add the cheese and melted butter.
5. Mix together, and add veggie puree and pesto.
6. Mix in flour and Quinoa Flakes if using them.
7. Spoon the cake mix into your Kiddo Feedo trays.
9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
10. Let cool and serve
