What is your WHY?? Remember to stay focused on YOUR goals! MY WHY: I made this instagram page so I could share my passion for health and wellness with you ALL. ✨For as long as I can remember I have been interested and practiced a healthy lifestyle. I could read book after book on how nutrients affect our body and why it is important to treat our body like a temple. It is the only one we get! ✨I’ve tried every diet out there and it all comes down to creating a healthy balance. What is right for YOUR body. One diet might work for one person and not the other. There is nothing wrong with that, you just need to find what works for you. ✨We all hear it “it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change”. But it’s so true. You want to create healthy habits that you can stick to. Not ones that you are waiting to break in X among of days/weeks/months. Listen to your body. If you want that piece of chocolate or glass of wine, don’t deprive yourself of it. Your body will let you know when you are lacking nutrients or ready for its next meal. Listen to your body, teach yourself how to eat intuitively.
The inconsistent journey has reached it’s end... 2018 was not the year for many different reasons on many different levels. Gained like 10 pounds within the year, had 0 consistency in my gym flow and dieting. Towards the end of 2018 was when I started getting back on track and getting consistent in the gym.. been consistent since.. 💪🏽 2018 has brought a lot of mental growth, and 2019 we will see the physical growth on top of the mental. I’m ready for a whole lot.😌
the lowest i’ve reached was 207 lbs on 2016. In this photo I was 209 lbs. I've been on this weight loss journey for about 3-4 years. The only thing is during 2017-2018 I gave up on myself. But this year I Won't 💪
Happy Wednesday! The multiple photo feature wasn’t working for me earlier so sharing a closer look at my breakfast this morning!
Soft scramble made with pasture raised eggs + turmeric ghee, arugula topped with olive oil, lemon, red pepper, sliced avocado, sea salt, dill, plus a side of sumo oranges and a lime sparkling water which I’m absolutely obsessed with right now!
Hope your week has been going amazing! Sharing my Whole30 experience so far on IG Stories tonight - so stay tuned!

Fresh BLT Skillet 🍅💪😜 This makes a complete meal with protein + grains + veggies.
It comes together SUPER QUICK, so add it to you meal plan for the week! }
makes 4-5 servings
6 slices nitrate-free bacon, cut into small pieces
4 (about 1.5 lbs.) boneless chicken breasts
3 fresh garlic cloves, minced
2.5 cups cooked quinoa, or brown rice
sea salt and pepper to taste
3 cups fresh baby spinach
2 cups fresh cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
1 ripe avocado, sliced
2 green onions, sliced
1 red chili, finely sliced (optional)
fresh parsley, or basil for garnish
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add in the bacon and cook for about 5 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
Remove and place on a paper towel to drain. Set aside.
Add chicken into the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste. Transfer chicken to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
In the same skillet, add in the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. Add in the cooked quinoa, OR rice, fresh spinach, tomatoes, and bacon. Stir to combine, wilting the spinach just a bit. Return the chicken to the skillet and nestle in the rice.
Garnish with fresh avocado sliced, chili peppers and green onion.

hello babes💕so I’m currently writing this post laying in bed where I’ve been for the past 2 days after getting my wisdom teeth out🤒🙃. I’m not gonna lie, not thriving at the current moment. I’ve eaten like 💩 the past 2 days. I’ve had such odd cravings after coming off of a pretty bad week and then getting teeth pulled & just wacky cravings after my surgery. And don’t get me started on how much I miss the gym and my active lifestyle. It’s okay though. I need the rest and my body definitely needs it as well lol. BUT I still wanted to give you all a good post tonight. So. I’m gonna be getting a little preachy so I’m sorry in advance haha... but when things in your life get #rough surround yourself with good people & keep your head up. After coming off of a pretty bad week I honestly have learned a lot about myself and how I handle a heart break. Where I am sitting today I can honestly say after having a reflection on my life and who is in it. How strong you can be even after something or someone has hurt you. To stand up and fight for your happiness in life. I am honestly so happy & grateful for what happened to me honestly. Because it kinda lit a fire inside me. My best friend said to me not to long ago “you’re finally awake” and that’s how I feel. Like I’ve finally opened my eyes for the first time and seen all the beautiful things my life has now and all the beautiful things it could be. My friends, family, fitness-family, community, and so much more is everything I’ve ever wanted and it all keeps growing. I can feel my heart becoming bigger and stronger. My love is growing with it. I am so blessed to have the life that I do. To have the passions that I have. The gifts I get to share with the world. I’m so glad I get to share my gifts with all of you. I have never seen my life this way before. I feel so radiant and happy... and this is all because something broke my heart?! Like what?! Life is so weird and can bring things to light in ways we don’t understand. Wow. But I want you all to learn from this too. That if someone or something has hurt you. Look at it as an opportunity to see all the beautiful things you have in your life. I love you all so much💕✨
Nearly inhaled this TASTY dinner after getting my workout on at precision running, which left me breathless! 😅🙌🏼🤩 Tonight’s dinner consists of seared wild SALMON, spinach CAESAR, garlicky broccolini + sliced avocado, the most crispy Dutch yellow baby potatoes 👌🏼😍✨ .
@butcher_box wild salmon filet seasoned with @kouzinifoods honey chipotle seasoning + pink Himalayan sea salt and pepper. Drizzle a little @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil on a pan. Add salmon skin side up and cook 1-2 minutes on medium heat. Flip onto its skin, cover the pan and finish cooking 5-7 minutes (I usually do 6). Peel skin prior to serving ✨ Pair with @organicgirl baby spinach tossed with @primalkitchenfoods Caesar dressing, nutritional yeast and pepper + avocado, broccolini and @traderjoes Dutch yellow baby potatoes (slice potatoes into quarters, lengthwise. Spread on a pan, coat with @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil, @primalpalate garlic & hearb seasoning. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. Flip and cook and addition 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!!!❤️
