Bought some pre-spiralized zucchini and summer squash for a quick meal. A little overcooked but it was still good. Just boiled the zoodles(should have just sauteed) drained and the mixed in canned artichokes (plain) and diced tomatoes (no salt) a little salt & pepper and feta cheese

We’re really cool in our house and we play a little game called freezer roulette! It makes my super frugal heart very happy! 💕😂
Basically we go to the butchers and fish market every 4-6 weeks and stock up our freezer. We eat all our favourite things and then for the last week or 2 we play roulette! We grab the first thing we see and make something fabulous until the freezers empty! 🍝🍲🥘
So tonight it was turkey mince (do you remember when I bought like 10 packets the other week cos it was super cheap!🙈) banged together with every piece of veg that looked a little ropey! That included broccoli, carrots, corgettes, onions, red pepper and mushrooms! Chucked in with chopped tomatoes and some herbs and wa-laa you have a delish and super healthy turkey bolognese! 🥦🍅🥕🦃
I estimate we have another week or so of freezer roulette so hold your hat the meals will get weirder! 😂

Excuse the hippie title - I’m open to suggestions if y’all are too embarrassed to call it that when you make it for bae’s breakfast.
1 cup frozen blueberries
1.5 cups yoghurt (I use Nush Cashew yoghurt)
1 tbs chia seeds
1 scoop vanilla or plain protein powder
Toppings (they are totally optional, I just had all these things lying around the house)
Mixed Seeds (with raisins and goji berries)
1. Blend up the frozen blueberries, yoghurt chia seeds and protein powder until smooth. Add more frozen blueberries if you like it to be more slushy-like.
2. Add toppings accordingly
Two steps - that’s it. Tell me the part about how you don’t have time to make your food at home? I’ll wait.

Let’s talk about this dinner...I found a new chicken recipe that is 👌🏼👌🏼. First of all I don’t grill chicken, the hubs does and he is usually home later than I like to eat. I put this flavorful baked chicken on top of spaghetti squash (oh, and I usually can’t cut the squash without dang near cutting off a finger so I found a steamable one-amazing!). Topped it all with more random veggies I baked and some feta. May be my new go to! Message me for the recipe (you won’t want to miss this one)!
Yep, that's pasta bake! Just followed the instructions on the jar! Due to it taking minimal effort, I decided to whip up a simple salad to spruce it up!

Happy Monday all, I'm wrapping up a lovely day with a hug in a bowl & the latest ep of Westworld🤗
After catching up with the gorgeous & inspiring @fionaelliott_nutritionist this morning (xx), I popped home to put the slow cooker on & tossed in some lamb shanks, passata, beef broth, herbs, salt & pepper + loads of garlic & left it to bubble away while I headed out to run a few errands before spending the arvo on some bulk food prep & baby room organizing🤰🏻😊
Closer to dinner time, I put some pumpkin on to roast, cooked rice & steamed some broccolini👉🏻a simple but delicious & nourishing meal requiring minimal effort whose left overs will double up for lunches & other dinner dishes for the next day or two👍🏻
Slow cooking is a brilliant & easy way to make nutritious meals & get the most out of certain cuts of meat, particularly as the weather cools down👉🏻I especially love using meat on the bone (ie; lamb shanks, osso bucco, chicken drumsticks) to get some of that lovely extra goodness from the breakdown of connective tissue which is so beneficial for our own connective tissues✨

Wanting to add a whole new citrus dimension to your salad !? 🤷🏼♀️ If so, then give grilled grapefruit a go! It’s delicious 😋 Drizzle with olive oil and freshly cracked pink salt and black pepper and put under a hot grill for about ten minutes (check it every so often so you don’t burn it but you can cook it as long as you like. The longer you go, the more caramelised it’ll become. Serve in a salad bowl along side your choice of protein and salad and add some mustard, hummus, pickled ginger etc. When you eat it, try and get a little bit of everything in the one mouthful. It’s a taste sensation ! (Handy tip: use a sharp knife to cut the segments of the grapefruit before you grill so it’s easier to eat when it’s cooked)

Post Run Oats 🏃♂️ Trying some fasted cardio this morning paired with this super satisfying meal. Packed with protien, colour and flavour. I used 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 banana, @bulknutrients earth protien some drops of @myproteinau flava. Topped with berries, mango, ground flax for the healthy fats and omegas.
