Ok just to whet your appetite before tonight’s @masterchefsg grand finale, here’s a very rough shot of last night’s roasted pork belly for the family before taking off for Singapore! Salty charred meaty bits, crispy crunchy mouthwatering crackling, totally rendered fat with layers of juicy moist meaty bits! 🤤Gee I love my pork. On the side, lovely pan seared asparagus just with olive oil and sea salt and sliced fresh crunchy Lebanese cucumber tossed in finely chopped fresh garlic, Lao Gan Ma chilli, soy, black vinegar and chili oil. #heaven#homecooking#porkfest#asiancooking#freshisbest#roast#easycooking#masterchefsg
Today’s Banana Pancakes with fruit and honey. Tip: Use just little bit of oil or butter to glaze the pan, too much and the pancake shape won’t come out nice.
Today I flew to Phoenix then drove to Sedona for a family vacation, and I needed to bring breakfast with me because I was straight traveling from 6am without time to stop and eat until 3pm... so I made a big batch of cornbread muffins to take with me 😄 They make great snacks and it's nice to know I'll be able to have an easy breakfast tomorrow (the hardest vegan meal to find in restaurants) 🌽 I always love traveling with starches 😋
Tender beef in creamy mushroom gravy = pure comfort.

#ad: Trainin' for my next hikin' trip has allowed me the opportunity to #slowlife and enjoy nature. With that comes time in the kitchen makin' my next hikin' treat. These Caramel Yogurt Granola Bars made with @wallabyyogurt are just what I need because there is #noneedtorush.
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of pure maple syrup
2 sticks of butter
2 cups of brown sugar
2 cups of powder sugar
1 small can of condensed milk
1 small Wallaby Yogurt.
2 cups of frozen or dried berries.
In a small bowl melt the peanut butter and maple syrup for 30 seconds. Stir in Granola and frozen fruit. Line on a piece of parchment paper and freeze for an hour or so. While they are freezin', you'll make the caramel yogurt. Melt butter with two cups of brown sugar. Bring to a boil and then remove from the heat. Add ½ a cup of Pet Milk. Place back on the stove and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool to lukewarm. Add 2 cups of powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Add the Wallaby Yogurt. Drizzle over the granola bars and then refreeze for a few hours or until hard. Now cut them how you desire and Y'all enjoy. #SlowYo
