It’s earth day today so here are some ultra swoon-worthy earthy interiors from @uniqwacollections
In love with the clean white lines and rattan / wicker furniture. Very close to my Mediterranean Summer blog vibe! ⬆️ |
Cat Lover alert!🐱 Who could resist to wear cat clothes and cat accesories like this amazing ring from @welmelbrand ?🐈🧡
I love to use rings and all kind of jewellery, despite some days at work I can't use as we have to do a lot of physical and crafting tasks. Anyway, when I'm in front of the computer I still dress like the crazy cat lady I am 😋
Do they let you dress as you want in your work or study center, or do you have to wear a uniform or some type of dress code?👗 Btw, I hope you have spent a lovely spring break!!☺️🌸

I'm alive, I swear. Sometimes in life we are required to pay attention to people closest to us and give them a helping hand if they need one, even though we sacrifice our time for it, and our own activities suffer from it. To sacrifice is to later receive, and be rewarded for that sacrifice. It is something we do for others that doesn't necessarily seem to benefit us at first glance, but in reality it enriches the bond between family members, friends, loved ones. Every good notion triggers good emotions. And it makes our life rich, fulfilling, productive. It forces us forward. Always.

My mother has been an ambassador of practicing earth friendly rituals as much as she can.
1. Switching off fans and lights when nobody is in the rooms anywhere.
2. Using less water from the pipes. The speed in the pipes in our homes are usually low because she keeps the main supply less 😀
3. So flushing the toilet , washing dishes, using the wash basin everywhere water speed is less.
4. Carrying her clothes bags while stepping out for any kind of shopping.
5. Returning plastics bags and paper bags to the respective shops near our homes from she got it in the first place.
6. Of course very less cloth shopping. Hardly any in a year or two.
7. No wasting of food while cooking and eating.
8. Encouraging buying Vegetables near home.
9. The water coming while cleaning the water filter is used for moping the floor.
10. Staying away no buying things would be the big one for her lifestyle. .
I'm loving this gorgeous photo of Sonny dressed up for Easter, those cheeks are just so pinchy 👌
I loved making this cute boy his new cot sheet in the "Earthy Tones Rainbow" Fabric from @dizzydaisyfabric 🌈
Authenticity on the Internet - what does it mean to you?
I’ve recently come across this topic on several other accounts and most people seem to believe that being authentic in the online world means showing your life how it really looks and not just creating pretty photos showing the fake, improved version of it.
As much as I value being honest and not trying to copy someone else, I must say that that I have a different definition of authenticity. For me Instagram is my little artistic space, a place where I can get creative, show my aesthetic and my vision of the world. I put together some things that look nice and take photos of them, I enhance the colours of my pictures, add some effects. I don’t really talk much about my everyday life here. I’m a very private and quiet person, I don’t like to share too much - it makes me feel vulnerable.
Does it mean I’m faking something or pretending to be someone else? I don’t think so. I just chose to tell my story here by those ‘pretty pictures’, without using many words. Of course it’s totally fine to share a lot more of your life on the Internet if you feel like it. I really enjoy following some people who do that. I think it’s all a matter of what feels comfortable for us - setting our own boundaries and sticking to them.
How about you, do you value more pretty photos or the words behind them - or maybe both?
