The 17th day of the month always has me quite open, but today is especially telling . I am not one that the universe is tender with, and she usually pushes me along my path quite swiftly , a lot of change to contemplate in my life in 2019, and I look forward to it all with an open mind and an open heart . I hope to sit under more banyans while listening to the whisper of the trees when I need stillness , while filling the rest of my time with adventure and exploration !
Back in #sanfrancisco and all of this rain has me dreaming of #waikiki 🏝 I can still feel the warmth of the sand between my toes and the #aloha spirit in my heart ❣ thank gaia for new experience and renewed spirit 🌈
Don’t let that tall grass fool ya! Today’s vert wasn’t so much on dirt as on slippery, slushy snow.
I’ve always used “hiking” to mean full-day adventures in woods I’ve driven to; it’s funny to use the word to describe walks at home. But, with a half-full pack on my back and cold rain blowing in my face, it wasn’t too difficult to pretend I was back on a mountaintop. I’m getting more excited about the AZT by the day! 🌵 ⛰ 🏃🏼♀️ 🎒 🏕
Sometimes, in the dead of night, we hear our own heartbeat clearer. Take time to listen.

I love all trees , but Banyans are some of my favorite . These fig trees start as a plant growing on another plant and the seed germinates in a crack or crevice of the host tree . You can see the support involved just by looking at them and the energy they host is amazing 💛 just one more reason to love Hawaii !
