Ever heard of #templerun ? I could definitely introduce you to “elevator run” . OMG second day of Eid the kids were bored and wanted to go out somewhere so I got them ready and was about to leave when @mariyah_taimoor called and said she was coming over with little Ahsan so I waited for her and ended up dragging her with us to the @thedubaimall as the kids didn’t want to stay home. This photograph you see here was taken a few minutes after we entered the mall and kids were relatively more calm and were enjoying their snacks. Soon after that we went to the @dubaiaquarium where they took their time to enjoy the sharks and stingsrays and I sang “baby shark” the whole time. It was all good till we thought of taking the kiddos to the dancing fountains and damn that’s when the elevator run took over our lives. Oh man! It was one floor after the other, one elevator after the other and we didn’t make it to the fountains at all which is strange as we’ve been living her for long now, same happened with the food court, I felt like we’d never get out of the elevators that day lol! Ended up having pizza around tired and sleepy kids and then finally came back home. Came home to guests visiting from Abu Dhabi and didn’t get any sleep that night, felt like a zombie next day. That’s how I spent the 2nd day of Eid. What a day! 😄 @mariyah_taimoor .
