Through The Hedge Backwards.
Have you ever been pulled through a hedge backwards?
It's an interesting phenomenon - don't you think?
I've passed this small, natural doorway on countless occasions, light of foot and sun-wise-wards on days when only ice crystals from the great North ride bare-back on cirrus clouds that govern the skies above in their ultimate blue.
It's minute and concealed - barely reaching my waist.
Obviously, frequently in use..and in the absence of a drink-me bottle, crawled through on my hands and knees to discover where it led.
All doorways divide 'somewhere'..(even if approached backwards.)
Most curiously..there was no evidence of human presence..no detritus, no odd trainers, no beer cans, no vodka bottles..spirits having flown..
However, I did find many, many cuckoo pints..
It was forsaken.
There have always existed tales of otherworldly abductions..which is why children still collectively shut wardrobe doors at night and fear the bedside-under.
Inaccurately now referred to as the bogey-man..it isn't a man at all.
It derives from the hob-man..a solitary being that haunt the doors and the 'wood' beyond the hedge.
Known also as hob-goblins, brownies, elves, Robin Goodfellow and Puck.
To be pulled through the bush backwards.
But to where?
Sleep paralysis was attributed to such inter dimensional exchanges and in fact the experiences are remarkably similar to the alleged accounts of alien abductees.
Another theory is that of the Multiverse.
Unfortunately, we are unable to see them or even confirm their existence by indirect means.
Other universes, externally outside our cosmic horizon, cannot be observable. at least not within physics as we know it..(controlled by the speed of light.)
But portals are certainly being researched: volatile and unpredictable - opening and closing in an instant.
These 'markers', called x-points or electron diffusion regions are being identified by scientists.
This discovery could be the key to uncovering the function of some of the legendary portals on Earth that are said to act as gateways to other dimensions.
Beam me up..or back..
Over grown but definitely not unloved 🌿 Taking jungle fever to the next level.
Two gents sat outside couldn’t hide their bemusement when I was excitedly snapping away at this doorway. I tried to explain that pretty doors don’t come this easy in Manchester! ⠀
So easy to spend an afternoon wandering the streets of Arequipa to take in all the ancient delights #wovenrosa
A full immersion in the music world of New Orleans: this is JazzAscona, one of the most exciting festival of Ticino for 35 years now. It literally transforms the quiet Ascona in one of the main European summer destinations for Jazz.
Ascona is probably the most fascinating town of Tessin: with its colorful buildings, the alleys full of shops and the lakeside promenade flanked by lots of Cafés, it looks like a small Sorrento”.
