[REVIEW] Keep Cool and Soothe Phyto Greenpair Cream
@stylekorean_global X @keepcool_global Try Me, Review Me (2/4)
What it is:
A cream designed to soothe and moisturize rough, dry, itchy, and even sensitive skin. It also claims to refresh and heal damaged skin everyday with the help of Keep Cool's nature happines recipe which consists of the following:
🌱 Cool Keepers (Scutella Baicalensis, Lonicerae Flos, Forsythia Fruit)
🌱 Phyto Green pair (Hinoki Cypress, Thuja Orientalis, Pine Tree, Bamboo) - the substances that generate phytoncide to purify and soothe skin
🌱 Centella Asiatica Extracts - helps to protect the skin as it strengthens our natural skin barrier
🌱 Panthenol - promotes skin repairing to make skin smooth and more elastic
The Keep Cool and Soothe Phyto Greenpair Cream is housed in a 50ml tube that looks like a giant ointment. The product is free from artifical pigments so the light green colour is all natural. Plus it's free from artificial fragrance too!
What I instantly noticed is the cooling effect it gives - really lives up to the brand name Keep Cool. Despite being called a cream, for me it has an ointment-like texture that gets absorbed almost instantly. It dries into a matte finish and does not leave any oily residue. It's moisturizing enough for people with oily skin like me. As for the soothing, it does it's job but I'm not greatly impressed. Why? The first time I used it, it made one zit more inflamed and a hive just appeared out of nowhere. I know it's weird but that first use left a not so good impression on me. With the repairing properties, maybe it does okay. It doesn't aggravate my textured skin, but it doesn't get any better too. I will continue using it though mainly because of the cooling effects. And we'll see, maybe my skin needs more time using this soothing cream.

My favourite @toofaced Products! I was first introduced to @toofaced by their Chocolate Bronzer, a cult classic! Since then, I have really enjoyed and loved the brand with their creative, themed products and cute packaging! Plus, @toofaced products have the most delicious scents! I used to use the Chocolate Bar Palette all the time, it was one of my first eyeshadow palettes, but since the release of the Sweet Peach Collection, the Peach Palette takes the crown as my most loved product from the brand!

My skirt of many colors. I remember buying this skirt for my birthday last year. I was obsessed with getting it not only because it was pretty, but also because the strokes of different colors reminded me that I am unique in my own way and that each of us is gifted to live in a world of many colors 💙💛♥️🖤Need some inspiration for the week? The mist rolled through the trees,
In such an eerie way,
Looming over the quiet lake.
I wish I could have made you stay.
There wasn’t a sound to hear,
Just like the night you left.
In the fog creeped,
Inward it swept.
I haven’t felt you,
Though I still hold you dear.
But this moment is different,
I finally feel you. Here.

[REVIEW] Keep Cool and Soothe Mask
@stylekorean_global X @keepcool_global Try Me, Review Me (1/4)
I work on a US time zone so it's still 21st for me. LOL. Now let's get to the review.
What it is:
A sheetmask that's perfect for soothing blushed, troubled, and sensitive skin. Keep Cool and Soothe Mask's nature derived ingredients claim to perform the following:
🌱 naturally cool down the skin and maintain best skin condition
🌱 nourish and moisturize the skin
🌱 purify and soothe skin
🌱 improve wrinkles and enhance skin elasticity
My skin-dition is getting worse lately due to closed comedones surfacing on my cheeks. 😧 Idk if it's the weather or something that I use. I've consistently used soothing products and avoided chemical exfoliants/actives yet there were days that they appear a little inflamed. They look really noticeable up close and it's stressing me more everyday. Sigh.
I'm glad that I have a box of these soothing masks in my stash. It has helped me calm down the inflammation of my textured skin besides reducing the redness. I like that it's so relaxing to use because of it's natural cooling properties. It is moisturizing enough with minimal tackiness compared to other masks. It comes with a half protective film sandwiched between the folded mask. Has 25g of fragrance-free essence which takes a while to get fully absorbed, it 's fine though because I'm after it's effectiveness. I also like how it nicely hugs my facial countours. It was only 0.21mm thin, just like a second skin so it feels like you're not wearing any mask at all. It was designed to be super thin to make the skin breathe while it delivers it's soothing and moisturizing effect. Definitely a refreshing experience you'd want everytime!

Bismillaah. So here’s my first #texturetuesday post featuring @innisfreeaustralia Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask which I thought I will share a glimpse review on this product as well. .
💸 $20 Aud for 100mL
What is it:
This mask claims to minimize the pores, purify the skin, exfoliate, control sebum & cool down the skin. It doesn’t contain any mineral oils, animal products, artificial fragrances or imidazolidinyl urea so it won’t irritate the skin.
How to use:
Scent: It smells a bit alcohol-y but doesn't seem to bother me
Formula: It's a thick consistency & you need a sturdy spatula to scoop it out. However, it's easy to apply but I have to rinse my face thoroughly otherwise, it leaves my skin slimy & I don’t know why. .
Verdict: It is a decent product as it rebalances the excess sebum on my skin & my skin feels tight afterwards. Also, it gives me the cooling effect while using this, but I need to pile up a lot of hydration as it dries my skin straight after I rinse it but not a big deal for me as all the clay masks are giving me this feeling.
However, I won’t repurchase this as it’s just an average product. Not to say that this is a mediocre one, but tbh I won’t recommend this to anyone 😂 Regardless, I will keep using this till the end as I don't wanna waste products, but I can't wait to finish this as it is still a lot inside the jar, probably will slop it over my body, lol.
