Doc Rivers on Danilo Gallinari: “If Gal doesn’t play better, we can’t win” #DaniloGallinari#docrivers#GoldenStateWarriors#LosAngelesClippers
The Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers thinks if forward Danilo Gallinari doesn't play better, the team have no chance to win the first-round series against the Golden State Warriors. "If I had to pick the guys - Gall's No. 1. If Gal doesn't play better, we can't win. That's on him & that's…
Takeaways from Game 3
•Predictably, Kevin Durant came out of the jump super aggressive and went on a scoring tear throughout the game. You could tell the Warriors we’re running plays for him to score which they haven’t been doing. It was a statement game for Durant and there wasn’t much the Clippers could do to stop him
•Whatever Gallo had going for him in game 2, he completely lost it. He has been horrible for all but those final 2 quarters of game 2. He has missed so many wide open jumpers and shots around the rim so far in this series. Clippers are not going to be successful if he doesn’t contribute.
•The Warriors have finally resorted to trapping Lou in pick and rolls which has been the kryptonite against Lou all season. The Warriors length and defensive awareness also took away the short rolls and drop passes to Montrezl leaving non knockdown shooters like Shai and Pat wide open. That duo had no impact on this game.
•Clippers stuck to their gameplan of leaving players wide open but the Warriors made adjustments by having those players lurk on the baseline for easy dunks and slipping the screens for layups.
•Clippers could not rebound or get any stops and this game was over after the 1st quarter. As good as Montrezl in, him not being able to block out his man, defend the rim, or grab a rebound is killing the team defensively. I’m seeing a lot of people say that Ivica Zubac can’t play in this series, but I honestly think he can. It wouldn’t hurt to try, not like the Clippers are going to win this series.
Thoughts on the game ? Let me know !
@easymoneysniper scored 38 points, Stephen Curry added 21 playing with five fouls, and the Golden State Warriors dominated from the opening tip to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 132-105 Thursday night and take a 2-1 lead in their first-round playoff series
37% shooting will not get us a win in this series. We were ice cold and shot horribly. The Warriors on the other hand, were making almost all their shots. Don’t know what we can do for game four, but we need to figure it out and take a game at home. Hopefully we can bounce back and perform much better than we did today. 🔵🔴
our clippers play the warriors in game 3 with the series tied 1-1. big game tonight at staples and it’ll be tough but ik we’ll take home the win. if we win all our games at home then we will win the series and head to round 2 so let’s do it.
135-131 clipper win monday night at oracle. biggest playoff comeback in nba history with us trailing by 31 halfway through the third quarter. crazy game for lou as he put up 36 points and 11 assists on the night. the series is now tied 1-1 as we head to la for a two game home stretch thursday and sunday.
i’d like to apologize for not posting and being active as much. i’ve been super caught up in school and prior commitments but i assure you guys i’ll keep consistent in the coming weeks. as always thank you for the support!
"ESPN aveva pronosticato che avremmo vinto solo 33 partite. Questo é quello che avevano detto. Barkley 33.

Lou Will & Montrezl Harrell get recognition of being the best off the bench tandem in the league. Patrick Beverley gets recognition for full-court pressing ANYONE who gives him a funny look in the hallway.
In all of this Danilo Gallinari gets VASTLY overlooked as arguably their best player.
Only 3 players in NBA History have hit the shooting split marks of 46/43/90 while scoring at least 19 ppg:
Since getting drafted 6th overall by the Knicks in 2008, the Italian forward has been a huge matchup problem for opposing defenses. His 6’10” frame & 7’1” wingspan in combination with his silky smooth shooting stroke allows him to rise up and shoot almost any defender.
This season Gallinari is averaging a career high in points, rebounds, and field goal percentage. Here are his top box scores from the season:
vs. PHX (11/28): 28 pts, 10 reb, 7-10 FG, 4-4 3PT
@ OKC (12/15): 28 pts, 7 reb, 10-16 FG, 4-6 3PT

Real plus-minus (RPM) estimates on-court impact on team performance, measured in net point differential per 100 offensive & defensive possessions. Here is where Gallinari ranks amongst small forwards:
Real Plus-Minus (RPM)
1. Paul George
2. LeBron James
3. Kevin Durant
4. Danilo Gallinari
Just because Gallinari has a calm demeanor that doesn’t mean he’s not an absolute KILLER on the offensive end of the floor.
He’s currently having one of the most efficient shooting seasons for a perimeter player in the history of the league.
What players do you think get overlooked due to their personality or team market?
