Ommmggg. We tried a new recipe today! Chicken sausage mixed with corn, mushrooms, green beans, and potatoes topped off with a garlic, rosemary, Cajun butter! All grilled up in foil packets for about 30 minutes. We literally took out more sausage because we are having it again tomorrow. Mmmmm 😋
Cooking over a campfire really taps into something primal. For this dish I cooked bacon first, then utilized the leftover grease by adding 1 heaping tablespoon of butter, 2 handfuls of diced sweet potato, and a bunch of green beans with my favorite seasoning (Voodoo from @world.spice) The sizzling butter in the fresh air is so inviting. Meanwhile, the serenity of Oregon’s forest provided me with a sense of wilderness and beauty.
