Now for something a bit closer to home ... #JuliaHenriksenTravels is featuring Nashville, TN! I’m biased, but I think Nashville is the perfect fall destination! My recommendation? Seeing the pumpkins at @cheekwood! 🍁🍂
Throwback to the Octoberfest in Munich 🍺
This is my first post after a really long break of 2 months !! I have been sharing some insta stories here and there but didn’t really post anything.. reason being a daunting thing which I am sure a lot of you can relate too.. 🥁 “Perfection !! “Perfection is exhausting”🤷🏻♀️ I am a perfectionist, so that causes few problems like, I would rather not post a picture if I am not 100% happy about it !! But now, I want to let go that attitude and want to land on 80% perfection. That’s a deal I worked out 💁🏻♀️ My life has evolved a bit during these 2 months.. work commitments have grown and I didn’t find time to write posts (my 💖 for long posts) for my pictures and didn’t had time for sorting and editing pictures..
I know a lot of instagrammers who have a full time job and they still post beautiful pictures consistently.. They are doing it, so l should be able to do as well and I WANT to share my pictures and inspire people to travel🗺 more. 💫
Luckily, I did manage to travel during this 2 months and have ✅ off few bucket lists places and experiences.
Now, I kind off want to pledge to keep posting more consistently. A big thank you 🙏🏼 for all of you who sticked around with me.

Sometimes even a relaxing hike in nature is good and helps you to restore yourself. Because just lying on grass and enjoy the sun is the best medicine against stress 💪
Qualche volta anche una camminata rilassante va bene perché ti aiuta a riprenderti. Perché solo distendersi sull'erba e godersi il sole è la miglior medicina contro lo stress.
B A Y O F I S L A N D S 🇳🇿 one last photo to wrap up our time in the Bay of Islands! We hiked up to this incredible view point in the historic town of Russell and were met with this, 360 degree views of the whole bay! We were so lucky with the weather today, even better to be back out on the search for dolphins 🐬! Today we were lucky enough to see two different pods, each with around 20 bottlenose dolphins in! What an incredible day to finish our time here 🏝

My childhood dream of Santorini come true 🇬🇷
When I was a little girl, my grandfather told me he loved Santorini, and then I was smitten with the set of the movie The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants at age 10👖 It really is a charming little island 🌴

Eli loved this place, he took his beautiful wife and kids here, and splashed around leaping off the rocks into the water like the hilarious big kid he could so often be. It breaks my heart that the first time we got to see #nymphfalls and the rest of his wonderful Canadian home was without him here to show us himself. 🍃

A woman in Burqa walks with a Riksha in her background in one of the streets of inner Peshawar. The city is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It's one of the oldest cities of the world and Asia particularly.
Greetings from Tashkent, UZBEKISTAN🇺🇿, and congrats to all of you who guessed where bae and I were headed!
Uzbekistan is my 110th country visited and I'm super excited since I've been wanting to go for ages. I'm even more pumped to discover some more of "The Stans"-- we'll also be hitting up Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan over the next two weeks!
Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital, has already left a good impression on me. The people are extremely nice, the streets are wide and clean, and it's VERY cheap (cab rides around town are about $2 USD, 3 course dinner at a nice restaurant $10 a person, latte at a trendy cafe $1). The architecture looks very Russian (not a surprise since Uzbekistan is a former Soviet Republic) and our lack of Uzbek/Russian language skills means it's a bit difficult to get around, but not impossible!
With that said, I can already tell that "Traveling While Black" will be VERY interesting here. I am by far the only chocolate chip in the cookie, if ya know what I'm saying...🤷🏾♀️ The stares have been REAL, to the point where a few locals surely got whiplash from breaking their necks to see my #blackgirlmagic float past. So far nobody has asked to take my picture (YET!), so I just smile my charismatic smile and keep it moving!
Off to Samarkand tomorrow! Have you ever been to this part of the world? Would you be interested in traveling here?
