It’s #nationalloveyourpetday Daisy is my first baby and the best big sister! She loves the kids so much and is always watching over them. She is the biggest bed hog and has to be under the covers right next to you. She knows which shoes are my running shoes and she gets so excited when I put them on, she is the best running buddy! We love our Daisy Mae❤️ #pitbullsofinstagram#daisymae
Today is #nationalloveyourpetday! Here are a few ways to commemorate the day:
1. Take you best friend on that extra long walk they've been dying for;
2. Give them the usual kisses X3;
3. Make them a special meal or favorite snack;
4. Play their favorite game;
5. Netflix and binge with your pet front and center on your lap!
What would you add to this list?
Going through some old pictures & found this. 😭 I miss my teeny-tiny puppy! I don’t miss her teeny-tiny-deathly-sharp-razor teeth or accidents on the floors, though. 🙌🏼 She’s gotten so big! 😵 (Side note- Nathaniel is the prettiest sleeper in the world & it’s absolutely aggravating. Just look at that little half-smile. Unfair.🙄🥰) #Daisymae#shepherdsofinstagram
Friday was a day to remember! It has taken me a while to get this posted, because of all the fun I've been having 😁 39 miles for my 39th birthday. Yes, all in one day, all on Antelope Island, lots of friends in person and in spirit, and THE BEST WEATHER!! Until the last 30 minutes where a storm came in with about 30 seconds of warning then DUMPED! It was crazy.
Mother nature woke me up with a couple earthquakes, trying to get me out of bed early so I didn't get caught in the storm, but I slept anyway! I did get up early and watched a beautiful sunrise from the island. All day the weather was warm and sunny! I even got a sunburn!! Daisy Mae ran all 39 miles with us, and my amazing friends that could join me in person brought me candles and cupcakes and some incredible laughs!! Earthquake, sunburn, blizzard and fun. What more could anyone want in a birthday?!? 😂
Pig mommin’ ain’t easy. We fight everyday. She often challenges me for the “head of the pack” position. She loves her schedules and any deviation from them is pandemonium. She demands love on HER terms and nudges me with her muddy nose everytime she needs a snack. She screams and cries when I don’t let her have her way. But I sure love than Daisy Mae.
