@dagwood.pk is the best place to have yummiest sandwiches in economial price.
Location : PIA Road, Wapda Town Lahore. .
One line introduction of this place is enough to know that these sandwiches are the best in TOWN!
We ordered two sandwiches.
🥪 Cocktail Sandwich (320 Rs/-)
🥪 Cheese Lover (340 Rs/-)
Cocktail Sandwich had grilled chicken fillets along with olvies, fresh iceberg, jalapeños, cheese slice and tomatoes. All the ingredients added to its flavor and made it succulent.
Cheese Lover sandwich was full of cheese sauce along with mushrooms. It was a juicy and moist sandwich layered exquisitely with grilled chicken fillets, and all the ingredients present in Cocktail sandwich.
It had a lot of cheese sauce due to which we did not enjoy the taste of veggies and chicken. That's the only reason we have given 7/10 for Taste.
Baki... It's prefect. .
Both Sandwiches were served with sides of crispy French Fries and Coleslaw. . . .
. 🔷 Pros and Cons
🥪 Delectable Sandwiches in town.
Taste and flavor 7/10.
💵 Affordable Price.
Great value for money 8/10.
Cocktail Sandwich > Cheese Lover
The only thing that annoyed us was 'Serving Time'. The service is quite laggy. . .

Got a late night craving and decided to make a sandwich. Started with getting the ham and cheese from the fridge, then mayo, dijon mustard, more cheese, more ham...oh can't forget the tomatoes. Sliced those up, then remembered pickles! As I sliced the monstrosity it hit me...I am Dagwood. It's finally come full circle. #dagwood
There was no way.... A good old fashioned sandwich at the well known Die Plaas Kombuis. Unfortunately, that was our first and last lunch there. They closed down to make an office for the new apartments coming up... Years and years old.. 😔 .
This image was taken the night before major surgery.
So much going on in this photograph. A lone abnormal heart beat picked up on the monitor; a remnant from days of now resolved cardiac arrhythmias (a side effect of shock and severe inflammation). Several pumps providing pain medication, antibiotics, fluids, blood products from over 10 separate donors, and even concentrated nutrition via the yellow tube, which travels up the nose and in to the stomach. Oxygen lines making it easier to breathe with bruises on the lungs. Ice water recirculation packs to reduce inflammation and pain from broken and luxated bones. A reminder to wear protective gear to protect an immune compromised patient. A dog, lifting his ears and truly observing his surroundings for the first time after being minimally responsive for over 4 days.
What you don't see: veterinary technicians assessing and working with the patient every moment, of every hour, of every day in this 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital. Veterinarians interpreting bloodwork, assessing neurologic function/pain levels/fluid needs, and performing soft tissue/orthopedic surgeries. A family waiting anxiously in the waiting room. An extended family of thousands hoping and praying. Boxes of food, treats, toys, flowers and cards from all over the country.
So many things come to light with this experience, but in short:
1. Our veterinary technicians are awesome. I wouldn't be half the doctor I am without a team of skilled technicians working with me every step of the way. I think most vets would agree.
2. Advanced medicine is totally possible with your pets. We have the capacity to do some truly amazing things. Dagwood is not out of the woods yet, but his progress has been amazing. Gone are the days when a pet was just a pet. Pet insurance is cheap compared to humans, and it can be a game changer when it comes to your animals.
3. Love is powerful, positive attitudes are infectious, and a strong sense of community is not to be underestimated.

#dagwood has come a long way since his initial presentation 11 days ago. Every day has come with a little less pain, fewer medications and fewer tubes/lines. A week ago, we didn't know if he would ever walk again. A week ago, he hadn't lifted his head from his bed since being admitted to the hospital. Today, he walked on grass for the first time since his injury, and even tried to lift his leg to pee. Tonight, we can all tell he is ready to be outside, to experience nature again. It's a feeling we all can relate to. If only his body could heal as quickly as his brain and spirit!
Soon my friend. Soon.
One more skin surgery today. Possibly another down the road. You will be back in the van in no time.
Thank you all for your support. It is amazing to witness and experience.
And holy crap, thank you for the food! I don't think the staff has had to bring lunch in over a week. You all are amazing.
And thank you @briannamadia for entrusting us with the care of your beloved family member. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to push the limits of veterinary medicine. Watching our patients get their lives back is one of the best gifts we get in this line of work.

Dagwood Madia needs a force of energy of epic proportions today. He will most likely be undergoing surgery (the second) to help him heal from a car accident that has left him in critical condition. It's a major surgery and he needs all the positive and healing energy, visualizations, and prayers you can give him. Check out Brianna's profile if you're not familiar with her and her family already @briannamadia . You will fall in love with Dagwood's wild spirit like so many of us have. Brianna and Keith are two very authentic people, which is why they've developed such a following IMHO. Their love for their dogs is palpable. Any and all positivity welcome. ❤ Thank you.

Yesterday, we got to say goodbye and good luck to our good buddy #dagwood as he was officially discharged from the hospital. Lots of emotions happening as we get to see this dog comfortably walk across the parking lot to his van.
In emergency veterinary medicine, you rarely have a patient in the hospital for more than 3 or 4 days. Even for a stay that short, you build a bit of an emotional attachment to a patient. Dagwood was with us for over 2 weeks. It's no surprise that staff members had tears of joy in their eyes as he was discharged.
A big thank you to @briannamadia and @keithmadia for trusting us with Dagwood's care and for pushing through these last few weeks.
Another thank you to the staff @bend_animal_emergency for making all of this possible. I'm proud to work with so many excellent and skilled veterinary professionals.
Additionally, thank you to all those around the world that were flooding the skies (and our break room) with positive vibes (and food), respectively.
And finally... pet insurance can make a world of difference in the turnout of a pet's serious medical condition. Veterinary care is hindered by the cost of advanced medicine. We use all the same medical supplies as a human hospital, but charge a small fraction of what they do. Financial limitations are usually a non issue when pet insurance is involved, often for less than the cost of a cell phone bill per month. Anyone who thinks they "wouldn't put an animal through this" is vastly underestimating our ability as veterinarians to provide comfort and control pain. We can treat your pets disease. We can heal your pets condition. Just give us the chance, and get pet insurance so finances aren't a deciding factor if the time comes when you need us.

This guy #dagwood has been heavy on my mind for the past 2 weeks. He has been on the most brutal journey of his life. This portrait isn't done yet but I wanted to post where it's at now to show we are all on this journey with Dags & @briannamadia .
As I draw Dags, I continue to see the heart & soul of this pack. He is a true fighter & guardian, as you can see the void that is present.
@briannamadia I see him as a warrior, free spirit, and yes...little bird, your #littlebird
When I'm done with Dags portrait, he will be well enough to continue on his journey. And Bucket will be rejoicing, I promise.
The past 2 1/2 weeks have been full of love, fear, courage, terror, joy, doubt, laughter and tears. Today we at BVSEC got to say goodbye to Dagwood. He’s being discharged and going home. Our brave boy who proved we all could do big things. Because of Dagwood (and his people) we are better doctors, better technicians, and better human beings. We are now all #dagwoodstrong. We will miss you buddy. Safe travels. May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you be free.
