Today was a crazy day! Threw Dad a party for his 60th birthday! Aunt Donna brought some old family photos which were fun to look through (some are in this post, lol!) We had delicious food and drink, great company, the dogs did so good, and we played some hysterical Cards Against Humanity. Since it was so cold and rainy, I decided to wear my new #horror hoodie from Comic Con! #ootd#horroricons#horrormovies#horrorislife#party#birthday#Dads60th
“Twas meant to be a celebration of 60 years old,
But cancer returned and plans put on hold,
What was meant to be 6 instead became 4,
The chance of a lifetime to sail on a boat...
We set sail in Vancouver, oh what a place
To sail to Alaska at a steady wee pace,
Through Juneau and Ketchikan and Icy Straight Point,
Were it’s all above board to smoke a wee joint
We biked round the park, we hiked up the grind
We spotted so many animals that were so hard to find!
From bears, to bald eagles we saw so much stuff,
To eating ice creams with marshmallow fluff **
From steam clocks and mountains and snow covered peaks,
To seals and Inukshuks and an animal that reeks!
The parents will love it, there’s so much to scoff,
That’s something to look forward too once cancer f**ks off, **
Our last days on land were full of exploring,
This place is a blast - it never gets boring
A visit to Gastown an a fab drive to Whistler
Two amazing weeks with Ash, Andrew and my sister!
So hard to say bye and big hugs were had,
Eyes full of tears but for happy not sad,
So much left untouched, so much more to see
I’m happy she’s happy - we’ll be back soon in B.C. 🇨🇦
