The bruising on my ribs is fading after my fall that winded me the other week. They still really hurt but at least I'm not having to consciously breath fully anymore, less stabby pains on inhalation. Having broken ribs several times before I know the importance of breathing properly as especially this time of year shallow breathing or little breaths is just asking for a chest infection.
I still feel sick/am sick if I press on my upper abdomen which is annoying. Though now things have calmed down a little I've discovered a fun new aspect to the most painful rib (The non tattooed side). The end feels crunchy when I press it and there's what is probably a chunk of chipped off bone that I can move about. It's kind of cool, but gross and then the pain kicks in and I'm back to vomiting. That's not so cool.
The same happens with dislocations, I don't get them often, I tend to just sublux. So when I dislocate my initial reaction is intrigue and fascination at the body part that's tried to abdicate. Then suddenly the pain registers a long with a shiver of nausea and maybe the rooms spins and everything goes white. But first you have to prod and poke as let's face it, it is kind of cool in a gruesome way.
Toulouse the kitten has to be involved in EVERYTHING!
Also I appear to be getting my waist back, yay. I imagine that's due to not being able to eat properly thanks to the mystery dental/facial pain and the sporadic vomiting. Not great really.
