@kamaayurveda Umang Box of Love & Organic Neem Oil
I’m in love with this beautiful beautiful packaging. Full review, information and experience of the box and oil will be in the next post and an unboxing video is coming too! I’m so excited.
Play a little game with me, if you will — comment down below the name of a product whose packaging with your whole heart you love, and tag the brand it belongs to. I would love to know of the various branding and packaging that charms/ed you. Oh! and do also tell me why you love it.
As for me, this box and the Ujjwal Box of Light by @kamaayurveda (honestly, all their gift boxes), and the @officialbyredo Rose Hand Care Set are few that I can think of from the top of my head but honestly, there are soooo many that I love.
P.S. Have you guys seen the 2018 Beauty Advent Calenders yet? Oh my god 😍 I have my eyes on the Liberty London Beauty, Diptyque, La Mer, Susanne Kaufmann, Net-a-Porter, Oribe and Space NK Advent Calenders.

Today I had the Mexican fiesta from @soul.press as a reward for a workout well done 👌🌱
I don't always feel like exercising, sometimes it's hard to get the motivation. Today was one of those days, but I still went to gym and I still did my workout. Why?
Because no matter how I feel beforehand, once I've worked out I feel better about myself, I feel stronger, accomplished and happier. I am doing this for my health, both physical and mental. I am doing this for me. 💪
What motivates you to exercise? 🏃

Did you know that 2/3 of Americans do NOT get the minimum recommended daily amount (RDA) of magnesium? Even more, 19% of the population doesn’t even get 50% of the the RDA!
Are you eating some of these foods on a daily basis?
Magnesium is a cofactor that is used in >300 enzymatic reactions and competes with calcium to reduce irritability in our cells.
Adequate magnesium consumption and even therapeutic supplementation of magnesium shifts the body out of the sympathetic nervous system state (fight or flight) and into the parasympathetic state.
Activation of the parasympathetic nervous system allows us to reduce the excitability in the body, open up the blood vessels (increase circulation), and promote a more relaxed and rested state. This can be especially beneficial to improve sleep if supplemented around bed time.
Magnesium has been proven to decrease the amount of circulating substance P (reduction of perceived stress, pain, & survival signaling) at night.
Additionally, magnesium’s role in opening up the vessels (vasodilation) in the circulatory system and airways has been proven to decrease blood pressure and provide relief for minor chronic asthma as well as migraines.
Magnesium is also anti-arrhythmic, supports bone health, and can be especially beneficial for diabetics (and pre-diabetics) by improving insulin sensitivity and postprandial blood glucose response. Optimal magnesium levels are also essential for proper Vitamin D absorption/metabolism.
How are you consuming magnesium on a daily basis?

Tahini N gingerbread Cookies by @panaceas_pantry ❤️
1 cup (90g) almond meal
1 cup (125g) all purpose gluten free flour
2 tbsp gingerbread spice powder
½ cup rice malt syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
½ cup hulled tahini
1 Tbsp chia egg*
1 tbsp nut milk of choice ( 1-2 tbsp, 2 if using plain flour)
1. Preheat oven to 175 c/350F and line baking tray with baking paper
2. Sieve dry ingredients (flour, almond meal and gingerbread spice) into large mixing bowl
3. Add the remaining ingredients into a separate bowl (including chia egg) and mix well.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry bow, and mix to form cookie dough.
5. Using wet hands, roll dough into balls (about 2 Tbsp each, or 60g). Place cookies on the lined ray, leaving a 5 cm gap between each cookie. Flatten cookies slightly with your hand, then transfer to the oven.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes then turn off oven & leave cookies in the oven for a further 5 minutes to brown. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to completely cool.
Enjoy cookies as they are OR fill with something delicious. I made a basic cacao filling with tahini, cacao powder and maple syrup. *Make a chia egg by placing 1 Tbsp chia seeds with 3 Tbsp water in a bowl. Mix well and set aside for 5 minutes. #bestofvegan

Fitness is not my life, just a part of it. I don’t lift weights 5 or 6 times a week, and I don’t have cheat days. I lift 3 times a week, and if I want a piece of cake on a Wednesday I eat it. I don’t deprive myself all week so on Saturday I can pig out until I pass out. That’s not healthy to me. If I could give you two pieces of advice I would say be consistent, and be intense. I’ve never stopped working out for long periods of time, I’ve been doing my 3 days a week for years, and when I workout my intensity level is through the roof. When you go in there you have to give it your all. Forget about all the negative crap in your life, it’s just you and the weights. Each workout push yourself a little more than last time, that’s how you grow. That’s also how you grow in life. Have a great night everyone.
