_Eyes of Gold_
I started of with a totally different expectation of the outcome lol. But I was happy to make such a great progress and turn it around out of my comfort zone. It's always great to move forward. This one was inspired a bit by peacocks and makeup tutorials using gold around eyes. Always look for inspiration in most unexpected places right? 🤔
Colour scheme itself was challenging; magenta and turquoise are difficult colours to pull of correctly, I wanted the bright feel of colours in rather dim light and atmosphere. Kinda like old painting vibe or vintage photo filter.
Also I would like to thank to everyone who has come to my stream and chatted with me!🍃
What do you think? And how are you dealing with art comfort zones? ☘
How was your Saturday?⠀
I woke up early this morning with a NEED to photograph so I headed to a local cultural center to see if I could spot any signs of Spring. ⠀
So happy with what I found!!! I didn't get to stay long because I had to head over to my piano class which was so much fun!
I feel so creatively fulfilled today!⠀
What about you? Did you make time for creativity today?⠀
6 mile hikes in the snow leave ya pretty wet, but that’s okay.

Photo Tip ☝️ When photographing a white subject against a dark background, try Spot Metering. It will help keep the detail in your white subject and at the same time create a darker background. If you want the background even darker, open the image in your RAW file editor and adjust the shadows and blacks slider to your liking.
