Today I met Charlotte, a five year old cat who had been surrendered by her elderly owners.
Charlotte was quiet but not shy. She was happy to be patted, but also seemed content doing her own thing. To me Charlotte seemed like a cat who had her shit together, & who I could learn a lot from.
Tomorrow Charlotte is going to be joining our family of four-legged fur-kids. And I’m pretty sure she & Meg are going to become good friends.
PS. This is how one tells @gollywog2012 there’s going to be a new addition to the family when he gets home 😂
Good morning folks. I was watching @me_and_orla’s Instagram live yesterday and she was discussing how people seem to be more conservative with their ‘likes’ these days.
I wondered what you guys thought? Do you only double tap for posts that really hit the mark for you? Or do you like every post that comes up on your news feed?
And do you tend to prefer super curated, beautiful, glossy posts? Or do you like to see real, behind-the-scenes authenticity?
Or do you enjoy a mix of the two? I think, personally, I expect to see beautiful images on people’s’ grids, and then the uncut BTS stuff in stories, perhaps.
But one thing I took away from the live video, was that likes and comments are free, and I’ll definitely be spreading the love more liberally and showing more support to those I follow, from now on.
History will be made this weekend! Only two towns will be represented in the Central Wheatbelt Winter Sports Grand Finals. Come along on Saturday to Nungarin Recreation Grounds for a day of high level sporting action from Football, Netball and Hockey. Bencubbin and Mukinbudin will battle it out for all 3 of the 2018 season flags. #MtMatrshall#Bencubbin#Countryliving#centralwheatbeltwintersports
'I must have shiny things' said the magpie. Seen here is a beautiful pale amethyst set into the 'Finders Keepers Necklace' I currently have a few different crystal sphere available. Please message for more details ✨
The only thing better than a road trip? A road trip in search of all the antiques. And the only thing better than a trip to an antiques shop? A trip to an antiques shop that you've never ever visited before. Yes. It's day two of our excellent adventure and yesterday was all kinds of kid-in-a-candy-store but don't worry there's still room for more. There is also room for a new GPS person in my car because my automated GPS person that lives in my car hates me and pronounces street names incorrectly (on purpose, I'm sure of it) and declines every opportunity to give me even the slightest heads up before I'm required to do something (sincere apologies to every other driver) and I think it should concern me that she's inclined toward danger. Notwithstanding my reckless automated GPS person, this trip is an absolute hoot and I wish you were here (but wait what if you were here and then you found all the finds first and I was forced to make like I wasn't disappointed maybe it's best that you're there instead...). Hope all is well at home thanks for watering the plants while I'm gone. Happy Day 👋🏻...

Happy Tuesday! Today on the BLOG, I am changing things up and had a fun idea to make a DIY console table out of a few items I had laying around the house. Head to BLESSTHISNESTBLOG.COM or Link in Profile to check out what I did! @liketoknow.it#liketkit
