Can I be honest? — there are a LOT of frustrating moments and self doubt that can creep into the creative process. Can anyone else relate? 🤷🏽♀️

In 2018 my Bipolar disorder was the worst it’s ever been. From July 2018 to January 2019 I was in a depressive episode, my longest episode to date.
I got so deep into the darkness of depression and anxiety I knew what it felt like to want to give up on life. It terrified me how desperate and hopeless it can feel. This is what lead me to be more vocal about #mentalhealth
If you struggle with depression like me, it’s a life long battle you have to fight and come out the other side as the champion of the fight every time. -
I’m getting healthier and I hope that the next episode isn’t so long and tiring. But if it is, I know my support system will be here to catch me when I fall.
Every single day you get out of bed in the morning and decide to make an effort to fight your life, you are winning this battle.
Keep fighting, this life is worth living. Be kind to yourself in these fragile times. Lean on people who you trust for your safety net of support.
I promise, if you’re in the dark right now, the light is coming back. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week- but if you believe I promise the shiny light will be back again.
