On the 4th day we went to Jasper, it was an amazing tour. We were taken from the middle of a bus with tractor wheels😂 to the glacier, and along the way it's already very cool, we went with a driver who made some very funny jokes. There on the glacier you can take an empty bottle and fill it with water from there as shown in the second photo, it's really good the water is really good to take, since the driver that took us already warned that we could do that.
Tips: • Book your schedule, we leave to buy there and had to be waiting 4 hours to go;
• There it is very cold, and during the way it gets colder, as we can see we were full of clothes and it was still summer;
• Take food, there are the famous picnic tables and it is very nice to be outside, if it is not raining of course;
• There they have a great structure with a mine cinema in the history of glaciers and also with a place for snacks.
Dicas: • Reserve seu horário, nós deixamos para comprar lá e tivemos que ficar esperando umas 4 horas para ir;
• Lá é muuuito frio, e durante o caminho vai ficando cada vez mais frio, como podemos perceber nós estávamos cheios de roupa e ainda era verão;
• Leve comida, lá tem as famosas mesas de piquenique e é muito agradável ficar lá fora, se não estiver chovendo é claro;
• Lá eles têm uma ótima estrutura com um mine cinema da história das geleiras e também com um local para lanches.
Our trip to Banff was an anniversary getaway just for the two of us. One of my favorite parts of the trip was the driving. I know I’m not alone when I say that driving in a quiet car with adult conversation and adult snacks is a luxury! Especially when you have views like this out your window!
The Columbia Ice Field Parkway is rated as one of the most scenic drives in the world. Along the route you’ll find glaciers, waterfalls, rock formations, turquoise lakes, forests and soaring mountain peaks that will take your breath away. A few stops that you’re not going to want to miss are: Crowfoot Glacier and Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Mistaya Canyon, the Big Bend and Athabasca Glacier.

Throwback when we were still traveling through Canada into the wild. Camper life is just great. Look at all the space you get, comparing to the Netherlands. All those mountains gave us a feeling of appreciating the world and it's nature. We miss sleeping between snowy mountains. Cold temperatures didn't matter to us if you can sleep in such beautiful nature.
hey instagram! 🌺
i know right, the last thing we need is *another* travel blog but here i am nonetheless 🤓 this account is a place for me to record my travel memories and inspiration, and explore the world online as i attempt to do the same in person 🌍
for my first post i'm throwing it back to the gorgeous peyto lake in banff national park in canada 🇨🇦 it's located in the canadian rockies and the bright turquoise colour (yes, it really is that bright!) occurs because the tiny rock particles from glacier water are suspended in the lake and reflect the light. science!
I want my home on wheels back 😩 Been in the shop for far too long! Travel or no travel, it’s crazy how much this #tinyhomeonwheels became our own little space where we feel safe and cozy! 🚌 Hoping to have it back in a couple weeks!
The #iceexplorer or "IceBus" as kellan likes to call it was amazing! Kellans has this incredible love for this monster truck bus that drives on ice. He has a small toy that he has destroyed from a one year solid of playing with it. He even takes it in the bath with him. More then anything I wanted him to see a real one up close. The incredible staff at @pursuitbanffjasper made this happen! They allowed us to ride over to see this at the docking bays to grab some photos. Kellan was on cloud 9! We also experienced the #glacierskywalk and it was so much fun! #columbiaicefield we will be back! This is a must see place with incredible staff!
