The show home for the new Brewery Court development opens this Saturday. This is a small development of just six houses and three apartments enjoying a central, tucked away position ideal for enjoying the town's amenities. Situated in the grounds of the old G & T Spencer’s brewery, with a history dating back to the early 19th Century, the honey-coloured hues of Bath stone succeed in blending the historic architecture of the original building with the six new mews houses. **Viewings are by appointment only - please call our office on 01225 867591 to arrange**
The Art and Photography department opened its doors last week for its annual exhibition. Guest speaker was Dr Chris Stephens, Director of the Holburne Museum in Bath, who provided a fascinating insight into the life and works of artist, David Hockney. From the 2nd of November visitors to the Holburne Museum will be able to view one of Hockney’s large double portraits, ‘Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy’. #art#education#schoolforcreativeminds#cityofbath#artexhibition#davidhockney
vegan cookery course at @demuthscookeryschool in Bath. Loved it 💚 I did a day of ‘fast and delicious’. Loved the cooking and the company, especially my cooking partner and the tutors who know so much! And I can now be let loose with a knife! Photos of lovely food to follow...🌱
What’s your top temperature today? Folks, I’m roasting in this London heatwave.... so this beautiful image by @gulsahlby of the deliciously gorgeous ancient Baths in...well, Bath, look most inviting!
It’s hard to fathom that these Roman Baths were originally constructed around 70 AD. Alongside stood a temple to the Celtic-Romano goddess of the springs, Sulis Minerva – in Roman times Bath was called Aquae Sulis, the Waters of Sulis. You can still see parts of the temple in the museum and walk over the incredibly ancient stones (protected by a cool see-through bridge) - some people also like to drink the sacred waters from here. But I’m sure that’s what turned me a bit daft 🙃
Phew... Goodnight from a very warm England! 🔥 Great shot by @gulsahlby 🇬🇧 Want your Photos of Britain to be featured? Follow us and then tag us in the picture too! 'Ta very much! 🇬🇧

If you survived my endless Instagram stories over the last twenty four hours, you’ll have seen I took a trip to Bath. The male had some work, so I basically did what Mama Mcfred always does, and joined him (and by that, I mean my Mama joins my Papa G, not the male. That would be weird...) I ended up going to one of his work events where he kindly forgot to mention it was inside the Roman Baths (dreamy!). I drank prosecco, mingled with his clients and then went on to drink more wine, before discovering Taka Taka. Honestly, their chip pita with tzatziki saved me (or it was my dream in where I drank 3litres of water) from feeling like death today. And now I’m not so bothered about a night in for once, because as the male says “you’re off to NY, so you can have a night of no plans for once”, and are watching all the old Louis Theroux documentaries. Currently on the swingers episode. I love him.
