Corsair Friday! Part 5
These models were going to be part of a Corsair Voidstorm Band or Corsair Malevolent Band. I lazily converted these guys from Sisters of Silence. I simply swapped heads and arms for Eldar and Dark Eldar bits. What’s nice about the Sisters of Silence is they are perfect scale-wise to work with Eldar. The Sisters are also pretty rad looking themselves. A very standalone unit in the Imperium line with not a lot that looks like them. I was going to make them a rag tag team of badass ladies that would strike with a vengeance and leave you wondering what happened. Since both units for corsairs are discontinued at the moment I was thinking of using them for a Kill Team with made-up rules or a Warlock Sisterhood in a Craft World Eldar list. I like the posing a lot and how the lazy conversion turned out, so I will finish them at some point. Honestly the only reason the one is painted is I needed a stand in model for a High Elf in a D&D game. I grabbed her and slathered her in the Yellow Belly Skink color scheme and off she went on here adventure. Thinking back, I should have probably painted her in my Crimson Tide color scheme so that she could blend with my larger army. Maybe I was just holding out hope they will bring back all the cool Corsair units when they do a full re-launch of the Doom of Mymera Imperial Armour book. Let me know if you have any other good Ideas on how to use these models in a Game of 40k or Kill Teams.
