Ok I have smoked this cigar and I have some thoughts and mixed reviews about it and I would like to express them in all sincerity, but before I do please note that this is not a criticism. This is a fan mail from a person who enjoyed cigars for 10 years and always appreciated the late Mr. Fayeq Al Zayani and his passion in cigars. Nevertheless, I must share my honest thoughts about this line of dominican cigars. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This cigar was constructed and made as a tribute to our dear cigar aficionado the late Mr. Fayeq Al Zayani, a man with a great taste and the first to introduce the Habanos concept to our very tiny Kingdom. Now I understand that the economics and sales changed drastically since the previous days and cigar smokers are finding other means of obtaining their cigars. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, considering the fact that this is a tribute to Mr. Fayeq - this cigar does not do him justice. First, the cigar is made of dominican tobacco, while Mr. Fayeq (god rest his soul) was famous for his love of cuban cigar and if I am not mistaken, he was exclusively smoking cubans. Secondly, the construction of the cigar and the wrapper looks out of proportion, the cigar tobbaco is not wrapped in a proper way that represent a good texture rather the wrapper had many flaws. Granted, the draw of the cigar is magnificent and it did compensate for the penurious construction of the wrapper and the filler, however, when I was done with the cigar it did leave a strong bitter-creamy taste which I did not enjoy very well, now to be fair this taste is usually seen in dominican natural leaves but I still think it could be controlled if it was properly constructed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I hope that the above does not offend anyone or the owners of this cigar. I have much respect to Mr. Fayeq Al Zayani (God Rest His Soul) and to his family I wish them the utmost success ❤️.

La Aurora Factoy Tour | 22.02.19 | La Aurora was founded on October 3rd, 1903 by Eduardo León Jimenes, a hard worker man who was son and grandson of tobacco growers, that, without neglecting his family tradition, decided to go a step further with the creation of a cigar brand which he intended to have a global dimension. The founder was then 18 years old, inherited some “tareas” of land and with a reduced roster of six employees, a great enthusiasm and much effort, began to build his dream. | Special thanks to Don Guillermo Leon & Don Irving Duran | Only the best, produce the best! | Dominican Republic #cigarcountry#procigar 🇩🇴

Ive always been a special occasion cigar guy , meaning that I set aside sticks for special moments to reflect on certain situations that are important to me . As you get older you realize that youre going to lose people in your life and that no matter how much time you spent with them , appreciated them or told them how much you loved them , when their are gone , it will never seem like enough . Make it a point to call the people you love and let them know how much they mean to you . It might be random , but they will appreciate it and you will be glad you did .
