For some reason my soccer coach in high school never had us in the weight room. Between that and having pretty poor stretching habits, I’d get sharp back pains every time I squatted, so of course I decided to avoid legs, specially squatting, for years. I started seriously trying to lift legs about 2 months ago and am loving it. The back aches and lack of mobility are still issues, but I can already move a lot more than I was able to just a year ago. Boutta turn these #chickenlegs into wheels 😤
Hit a nice lil pr for myself last night🏋🏽♂️ First clip is 295lbs which felt like it took forever to go up and the second clip 275lbs felt like nothing. Goal by the end of the year it to hit 315 but we’ll see if I can get it. Shoutout @_phatman_ for always being down to workout and pushing me to better myself everyday💪🏽

When I tried this 52 INCH SEATED BOX JUMP ⬆️, I had no idea if I could do it. I was so hesitant, but once I committed I f***in killed it❗️
Getting up in the morning can actually be scary in the same way a heavy squat is or a big box jump is. And waking up can honestly be one of the hardest things you got to do all day, but when you do it right it sets your day up for success. Sometimes when I really feel I can't get up in the morning, I say out loud "it's just another day another dime" and count, "1, 2, 3" and don't think about it, I just get up. Don't let yesterday's bad day roll over... sometimes you just got to take a deep breath and DO IT and stop f # # #in thinking about it 💥
