My midday meal is my most nutrient-packed. During that time, I burn the most calories and antioxidants so its important to refuel those cells effectively.

Yes, during stressful times (good stress, too!), we burn antioxidants to combat negative effects of toxins caused by oxidative stress to our cells caused by pollution; mental, emotional, and physical exertion; viruses and pathogens; and unhealthy work and personal relationships. Its all connected!
.. I always try to include a "fatty salad"- one not only loaded with healthful + filling ingredients, but specifically choosing those with fat + fiber to help keep me full and to assist in the absorption of vitamins and minerals.
Remember to have your last meal about 3hrs before bedtime to allow your digestive system to rest leading to a better night's sleep.
Women tend to need more resistant carbohydrates like sweet potato in the evening to help with blood sugar and hormone regulation, and easier digestion to avoid frequent waking.
Your busy time may be early morning because you start work at 5am, or perhaps a cook who works the evenings. Whatever time you are active the most is when you will want to consume more calories to keep fuelling your cells and your day.

@dj_tangalin method to cook octopus. He starts by massaging the octopus with course salt for 30 min to tenderize it and then tempers it by dipping so it doesn’t curl. Then he poaches it at 160-180 degrees. How do you like to cook your octopus? Tag @chefepic with the method to be featured.
