Finally finished off the fish curry leftovers which I had made earlier this week. And I sat down to write the recipe before I forget 😱. —————————————————— I modified my original recipe that I had posted earlier in the year and what I did essentially was sauté everything together and then grind it and cook fish in it. I also substituted coconut milk in place of grated fresh coconut and used Swai fish this time. ♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️ Here’s the new recipe👉 heat coconut oil, sauté mustard seeds, 1-2 dry red Chillies (I left it out because of kids) , 1-2 cloves, black peppercorns, fennel seeds and cumin seeds and sauté for a min. Add finely chopped onions and sauté for few mins till lightly golden. Now add minced garlic ginger and one green chilly (optional) and sauté for few more mins. Let it cool and grind with some water to make a smooth paste. Return the paste back to the pan and add some red chilly p, turmeric p, coriander p and salt and sauté for few mins. Add some water, 1-2 tbsps tamarind pulp and fish and cover and cook till done. Now add 1/4-1/2 cup light coconut milk ( depending on amount of fish) and stir it carefully so as to not break the fish pieces. Garnish with cilantro and enjoy with white rice. Oh yay!! I wouldn’t eat it with anything else 😜 hahaha!
