Thank you for this great video @darshmalde
Into the deep blue.
One of my favourite moments in 2018 ~ cenote Angelita. As you dive deep into the cenote, a white cloud hovers around the hole; a cloud 3 meters deep made up of hydrogen sulphate that seperates fresh water at the top from salt water at the bottom. As you emerge above the cloud, a forest of tree branches is revealed hovering seamlessly above, certainly makes you feel like your tripping. .
A friendly crocodile lurks around in this mysterious pool of water.
Mayan Cenote.... It is said that mayans used tu sacrifice a princess as a huge honor in offer for the God of rain Tlaloc... They used to cover them on heavy jewerly made of obsidiana and jade with gold for them to sink and not been able to swim up due the weight of the ornaments... #cenote#adventure#mayan#paradise
After a couple days of hanging out on the beach and at the resort, we went on a full-day excursion. We visited the Mayan ruins in Tulum and Coba, swam in a cenote and shopped at Playa del Carmen. 🚌
The view was amazing from the top of the pyramid in Coba....which we were told you wouldn't be able to climb soon. The best part was chasing the bus down because they were driving away without us. Good thing I'm a fast sprinter....even in Chacos🏃♀️ FYI: Coba is about 3 hours from our resort. 😲 When the bus finally stopped, they didn't apologize, just offered us a beer! 🍺
