Soooo this is me 😅 We have all heard the saying “Abs are made in the kitchen” and it’s totally true! But that doesn’t mean you don’t have to do ab exercises. Having a strong core is more than having a six pack. A strong core is so important for powerlifting, and it’s one of my weak points. So I’m working to change that so my core can help support me during heavy compound lifts. Twice a week I do 20 minutes of HITT and an an circuit. Slide through if you want to see my ab workout for today! Did each exercise 3x.
PS: the sports bra is from #ACTA . It fits greats and stays in place even when doing HITT! Click the link in my bio for 15% off their stuff 😍
Adding VARIETY is such a game-changer because it reminds me to stay hungry for a challenge.
Take a HIIT circuit of wall ball slams, battle ropes and ball slams outdoors and go by time or reps, whatever kicks your butt🔥.
Andrie and Indra are Muay Thai teacher. They focus how to teach martial art more fun and then can be useful as a fitness training too. From this class you will learn how to combine between basic Muay Thai as Martial art and fitness training with fun.
Today I had a lot of extra energy so I did a mile and a half jog to sprint , some low bar squats @beccamatelle taught me and wanted to end it by giving myself a round of applause with some clapping pushups . The last 3 were rusty because I pushed extra hard today so I wanted to make up for it by doing core knee to elbow . I feel so great ! ✨ try it if you feel me ❤️❤️💪🏽
Circuit training targets strength building AND muscular endurance so you basically get the best of both worlds! I do circuit training AT LEAST twice a week along with my strength training.
Sidebar: I’m FINALLY seeing a few small changes in my body and yah girl is a lil hype 💃🏾. Stop making excuses and see the amazing things your body can do if you just allow it !
Try this circuit out, grab a HEAVY medball, challenging weight for the kettlebell and sandball. Let me know what you think! Modify based on your fitness level
4-5 Rounds. 15-20 sec. between exercises. 1 min. Rest between rounds

First stop today is my favourite spot in one of my favourite cities... Fish Fry, for some food 😊
Why are you getting in the way of your own progress?
Time and time again you will start something, but not finish It.
I used to do the same thing. We are human. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t do this.
One day I thought to myself why do I keep going around in circles chasing the same results?
Maybe it’s because you are lazy. Or scared of the outcome. Maybe you don’t believe you can actually complete the task.
But I dare you to finish. For once, set your mind to WHATEVER It is that you keep on starting and not finishing. And DO It.
NO laziness. NO idleness. NO procrastinating. NO Negativity. There is no limit to the amount of times you are allowed to try again. Take a moment to repeat these words to yourself and take action. Laziness is the death of your dreams. And an idle mind is just a weak muscle you haven’t worked enough to build greater strength. So get UP, again. Start... AGAIN. And really think deep, why do you always give up when It gets tough? Or why do you always go negative when one simple plan doesn’t go as you thought? Why do you fall completely off the wagon when you make the slightest error? What is It going to take to really going to take for you to change the way you think?
For me It was having accountability. Hiring a nutrition coach. Hiring a business coach. Having someone in my corner I have to answer to. Knowing that if I don’t get “this this and this” done... I am not only staying complacent, wasting my time and money, but also holding myself back from the body, mind, and future I want for myself. “If you wanna change someone to change you have to change yourself.” - Sista @js_mainsqueeze
I can’t expect my clients to stick to their plans and stay on track if I don’t do so as well. As a coach I have lead by example and I want to be that best influencer and motivator in every aspect of life.
I also thing a huge part of this and sticking to something is surrounding yourself with people who have like minded goals and lifestyles. Or just by people who are motivating to you. Tag someone that motivates you or that needs to hear this!

#throwbackthursday I remember the night on the left so vividly. I can even remember the way I felt about myself that night and if I had to choose a word to describe it I would say I felt “uncomfortable” in my own skin. I remember how I didn’t want to dance because I just felt so fat and ugly! I’d barley start moving and be sweating and out of breath. It was embarrassing. I hated how I felt! But damn how times have changed and I couldn’t be more proud of myself and this amazing 100 pound weight-loss journey that I am on! In the left picture I was wearing a size 20-22 at my biggest. I am currently in a size 14 and shrinking everyday & feeling better and better! 😍💪🏻 Now I want to get cute and go shake my ass! 🤪🤗

After 16 long intense weeks I’m officially a yoga teacher. I’m not one to ever complete anything, I lose interest and move on to the next big thing. And to say this piece of paper means a lot to me would be a lie. But the people I’ve met, the stories I’ve heard the memories I’ve made, I’ll never forget... they mean the world to me. 🦋 I’ve found life long friends, peers and mentors and above all we share the same goal to make people feel good in their bodies. I’ve never been surrounded with so much love, light and positivity and so many women empowering each other. Thankful for each and every single one of you, the world is a better place because you’re in it 💜
I have now been doing Pilates consistently for 3-4 months now and have been LOVING it🙌🏼
Before this, I had been lifting weights and doing more high intensity workouts, but My body was craving more low intensity, resistance-based workouts recently, so I listened to my body☺️
I feel like there are tons of workout classes out there, and they can be great for some people, but not everyone. Maybe you’re not really feeling like doing a lot of running, but feel like you “should”, or maybe your body is craving more yoga and walks than weights.
For me, i feel like my body changes and sometimes it craves certain workouts over others. It is totally fine to switch it up, just as long as you keep moving, and feel your best! I love that Pilates really lengthens and strengthens your whole body, especially your core!
These workouts are NO joke! They don’t have you drenched, but you feel the burn🔥
PS- I go to @sessionpilates in dallas!

Enfin l'heure de manger ! 🥰
I always dreamed about dancing in NYC, and you know i did it!
In my opinion.
Life is not about money, it definitely helps you to reach your goals or dreams, but it shouldn’t be a goal itself. What truly makes you happy is doing what you love and make your dreams come true, and those dreams can be very small or very big.
I think regret can be one of the most painful things in the world.... .
