This picture was taken this year during summer break in the waters around Vancouver Island. It shows my dad, our tourguide and I paddling in an Aboriginal canoe through the Pacific Ocean. I chose this image because it reflects one of my top three values; living an enjoyable and fufilling life. I enjoy experiencing nature and being close to the water as well as and getting a chance to learn more about the native people of Canada. #vancouverisland#canoeing#onanadventure

Forest for smoke begins to clear over the Yukon. CWAR’s home base kept track of the fires & the crew, touching base via SPOT GPS every evening. Rain sometimes, smoke sometimes, heat for sure. But also perfect, perfect sun & clear days for making☀️🌲
Trying to hold on to summer... Canoeing with my husband and Dad on Lake Muskoka is my all time happy place. This year marks 30 perfect summers in this magical place and I’m so happy I’ve been able to share Muskoka with so many people near and dear to me like @sundownd! Awesome moment captured by @josstheboss13 or @paulbourgeois.
The best days are often spent outside, with everything you need packed into daypack. Looking down, and then quickly realizing that there’s so much more to see when you look up. These are the days we’ve been living for. #50Campfires 🔥
