"I studied in Sweden for a semester during my undergrad and I simply fell in love with travel and living in an international setting. The experience gave me the courage to pursue a less structured adventure that was entirely in my hands. When I graduated I definitely wasn't ready to settle down or go back to school so I decided working abroad would be another amazing but different way to gain some valuable life experience in a new culture." — Brooke W., in Edinburgh, Scotland #SWAPUK#SWAPInYourOwnWords #WorkAbroad#IECVoyage#CanadiansAbroad#Travel#Work#Explore#Wanderlust#Scotland#UK#LinkInBio
Traveling - it leaves you speechless and then turns you into a story teller ♥️🌏
So time for a short story - this photo was taken at the end of a super exciting day in Moalboal. Literally 10 feet out from these rocks I was able to snorkel alongside sea turtles as they grazed along the coral reefs, experience the jaw-dropping sardine run (one of only 2 places in the world you can experience this) and watch @mimzonamission freak out when a (actually turned out to be highly venemous ) sea snake decided to swim up beside us 😂 we capped it off by watching the most stunning sunset I think I’ve ever seen in my life 😍 a day of stories I’ll never forget #globelletravels

Do you travel with a backpack or a suitcase? My bag of choice for long-term travel is a backpack. I find it so much easier to travel with than a suitcase...taking transit is no problem, you can run through an airport, plus you get some serious traveller cred 😆 I have an @ospreypacks backpack that I adore, and which has stood up to some serious abuse.
Greetings from the future (quite literally).🛸✨✈️
Spent our first Monday in Beijing, then flew overnight and had another Monday in San Francisco. The new United Polaris class suites are beautiful! A perfect way to spend the 12 hour flight.
"I love traveling, and wanted to go to the furthest place from home. Australia is literally the furthest country from Montreal. I also always wanted to surf and realized that I was almost 30 years old and never tried so I made it happen...If I have just stayed home, I wouldn't have learned how to surf in Oz. I wouldn't have fallen in love with surfing so much that I went to Bali and New Zealand to surf. I wouldn't have met the tennis players at the Australian Open. I wouldn't have "touched" a double rainbow at Lake Tekapo. I wouldn't have taken the opportunity to visit Singapore, Thailand, Japan, New Zealand, Korea and Hong Kong." — Isabelle C., in Sydney, Australia #SWAPAustralia#SWAPInYourOwnWords#WorkAbroad#IECVoyage#CanadiansAbroad#Travel#Work#Explore#Australia#Wanderlust
1️⃣If you ask for a better hotel room, they’ll probably give it to you.
2️⃣It’s worth paying a little extra for something if it makes your life less annoying.
3️⃣Traveling light isn’t worth the trouble.
4️⃣If someone says something isn’t possible, it probably is, you just need to ask again.
5️⃣Starting your day with something healthy will make you feel like you’ve got your shit together even if you don’t.
