Another beautiful sunset above EEOR, but with temperatures dropping well into the negatives and the light fading fast, we had to pack up the cameras and head down while we could still feel our fingers. 🌄
The first snowfall is always the sweetest ( then the rest, I'll whine and complain )🙊.
Byward Market is one of my favorite Ottawa hotspots. It is one of Canada's oldest and largest public markets. Within an area roughly about four blocks square, you'll find museums, cafés, shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, pubs, and many more! Easily accessible on foot (when it's not cold), by transit or by car ( in our case, lots of @uber 😁. The ByWard Market offers a unique experience for all and there is always something going on around.
Do you enjoy public markets?
If you guys haven’t noticed yet, I love waterfalls 🌲🌿 // I’m currently DESPERATE to go on another roadtrip to a national park. I love being outdoors and surrounding myself with all the beauty that nature has to offer, and it’s about time I do that again

PHOTO OF THE WEEK: If there is a time of the year when Lake Louise isn’t “magical” we haven’t seen it! Thank you, Andrea O’Donnell, for capturing this October sunrise at Lake Louise! Would you like your photo to be featured? All you need to do is tag it with #RockyMountaineer and tell us about what made the moment so special. We’ll select our favourite photo from the week’s entries and share your best moment with the world!⠀
All aboard! Trains will always be my favorite way to travel. The repetitive sounds of the engine and the wheels on the tracks, the changing landscapes blurring together through the windows...and don’t even get me started about the dining car and snack trolley 😉
Also, I’m blown away by the love for yesterday’s post in Old Town. Over 1,500 views and counting! I love being able to share the beautiful little city I call home and can’t thank you enough for your support ❤️
Situated in the Yoho National Park in British Columbia, Canada, the stunning Emerald Lake is the largest of the park's 61 lakes and ponds. An awe-inspiring 5.2 km trail, filled with magnificent Canadian Rocky Mountain views, sorrounds its shores.⠀

My first snowfall of the year. #Tbt to last week's trip to the East Coast. Thanks to you #Ottawa, you were a treat even in -8°C 😉. I'm from the West Coast, so we're still a little spoiled in the double digits temperature.
Have you ever checked Ottawa before? My next photo series will be about this beautiful city. Also, I will be updating my story highlight, so stay tune.
