The Cross marks as a landmark of the cemetary that sunked after the eruption of the Old Volcano (Mt Vulcan) back in 1871. Another eruption occured on 1948, which further sunked the cemetary.
Today, this place is not only considered historical but also is acknowledge as one of the most unique diving spots in the world. For the tombstones that sunked after the eruption have slowly merge to corals housing thousands of fish and other marine creatures, such as giant clams and sea snakes. 🌊🐟🐠🐡🐙🐚🦀🐌💕
