Never felt this good in a while. I’m grateful that my dream in 2018 came true this year: the 2-month adventure in Indonesia and Philippines happened as planned, even though there’s no clear direction. I mean, Siquijor wasn’t the plan and I’m glad I went. 🏝
I’m very very grateful for all these adventures, it made me strong and confident about myself.
Cuh, this place is truly a paradise. What are you doin’ cuh come and exp it! For real man.
📍Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines // February 26
🇨🇿 Vodopády k Filipínám neodmyslitelně patří, a ať si k návštěvě vyberte kterékoliv, vždy vás okouzlí svým exotickým vzezřením a neuvěřitelnou barvou vody lákající ke schlazení přehřátých těl. ==========================
🇬🇧 The waterfalls are essential for Philippines and all of them are totally charming with their exotic look and incredible colour of the water that invites for a dip. So do several-tiered Cambugahay Falls on Siquijor Island. They are small exceptional because of no entry fee, but then - of course - they are very popular and mostly crowded (and also "closed" at 5 PM).

Mirrored reflections over Siquijor...📸 // @canonasia
At first I wanted to say “looking for my tarzan” for the fun, but no. Not looking for anyone, just loving my time with myself while enjoying what the world has to offer 🍃 #lovebeginswithyou#behappywithwhatyouhave
The 3rd and final leg of our expedition. Starting off with what I think is the best photo I've ever taken (it doesn't hurt that I had an excellent model), Siquijor was my favorite island on the trip! The sunsets were the best I've ever seen, the locals were friendly, the waterfalls plentiful, and the drinks delicious -- not to mention that it didn't feel as touristy.

Twice, we went twice at 7 AM to the Cambugahay Falls in Siquijor. It was a 1-hour scenic drive and we absolutely loved driving around the island this week. We wanted to make more photos as well so wen’t back for another jump in the water. (📸: @saltinourhair 📍: Cambugahay Falls, Siquijor)

Egypt, here we come! We’re currently at Bahrain airport for a stopover towards Cairo. 🇪🇬 We’ve seen The Pyramids on tv or in cartoons when we were kids but it’s feels unreal that we’ll soon be there in real life! .

A young girl once asked me: "do you believe in miracles?" I thought about it for a moment, took a deep breath and said: "Well...More than 90% of the ocean is still unexplored, there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on earth, your body can grow a fully formed human baby in like 9 months, there are people who were healed from deadly diseases by meditation and we can travel to the other side of the world in less than 48hours. It would be crazy not to believe in wonders because we're surrounded by them every single second and with every breath that we take. Sometimes, we just need to open our eyes and see that all of this is more than crazy and supernatural. With every day our problems will appear smaller until we realise that most things we worried about are not even 10% essential.
ONE THOUSAND! 🎊
One thousand Instagram posts that all have their own story. September 2015, our first post and a lot has happened from that day. We learned about photography, blogging, creating videos, running our own business, a healthy lifestyle, and a relationship all at the same time. (See stories)
That 3,5 year of 'Salt in our Hair' had huge ups and downs but what keeps us going is the love you give us on the work we put out there.♥️
The BEST thing we’ve learned over the years? Doing things our own way and not what ‘is expected’ or everyone’s doing. .—
