My baby girl fell asleep in her bed with her fur baby Colby. She misses him so much still. We can’t believe it’s almost been six months since we snuggled him. Love you Bubba!
She read you jokes from her iPad again tonight in hopes you might feel better. #dachsundsofinstagram#dachshund#bubba#colby#lucy#amb4307
Our little bubba Harrison is growing up tooooo quickly. He will be 1 in just 2 weeks! (Where did that time go?) Everyone says they grow up in the blink of an eye... but LITERALLY. 👀
I remember before he was born, every week I would write Alan a message from Harrison. Saying how excited he was to meet his dad, it was the highlight of Al's week (well so I think) and now to think my baby is crossing into the Toddler relm! (Golly gosh I am not ready for tantrums!) They literally learn so much in their first year. And that is honestly the most rewarding thing. Small things, like learning to blow kisses and clap and dance literally BLOW MY MIND. These small humans learn more in the first 2 years of life than they will for the rest of their life. It is insane.
What is your favourite thing that your #bub does?
Mine at the moment is "Harrison, can you put your hands on your head?" It might just be the cutest thing in the world... #baby#mum#instamum#harrisonfraser#oneyearold#learning#growing
A few hours ago a shelter volunteer at CACC reached out to us about a 6 month old dog who was being surrendered.
Meet Bubba. He has horrible “cherry eye” that currently blocks most of his vision as well as a bad prolapsed rectum.
Although we have no foster home open/available, we said yes-without hesitation.
Bubba was rushed to our emergency vet by a gracious volunteer in hopes of quickly fixing his prolapsed rectum. Thankfully, he will get the rectum procedure done tonight and will then be transported to our general vet tomorrow morning for his cherry eye surgery and neuter. Being that cherry eye is not a surgery that falls under the “emergency” umbrella at most ER vets, this can be completed at our general vet, Park Rose.
We are currently being quoted just over $700 for Bubba’s rectal procedure. You all have never let us down before and with your help, we have been able to provide (and will continue to provide) so many major medical dogs with fabulous vet care.
